I am a Kleeneze distributor and have 2 customer who are desperate for an Avon catalogue on a regular basis. I have spoken to an agent 2 to 3 weeks ago but she still has left them a catalogue and each have gone on line to request but not had any sucess. Can you advise please.

If you send me a pm I should be able to find them a local rep, I'm a member of a sales leader website and someone is bound to have a rep local to your customer. If not, try googling your town name & Avon, it might give you the details of another rep and hopefully they will deliver a brochure :)

Avon have handily changed the links to C14 and the sale book in the middle of when many of us are on C14

    Here are the new ones:

I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
  • Hello all. I'm in desperate need of earning some extra cash.

I did Avon nearly two years ago but only lasted a month as nobody in the area wanted to buy anything :(

I'm considering getting into it again, but really not too optimistic about what I can achieve.

I'm a childminder, and work at the moment from Half 7 til half 4, I have two kids of my own and I have two dogs so need to walk them. Worried I won't have the time, though I could probably drop the catalogues off whilst walking one of the dogs.

Just a bit worried that again, I'll do all this and still nobody will buy anything so being a bit of a waste of time :(

    Hi there.

I have been a rep on and off for 12 years. I left Avon owing some money over 2 years ago and have since paid it all off (around 18months ago)
I reapplied yesterday, hoping to start up again and even go into SL (I have done this before) and I already had 2 wanting to be signed up.

My account was rejected due to my credit score :(:(.

Are there any ways around this? I am willing to beg lol.
My mum is willing to stand as a Guarantor (is a rep herself, I have been helping her with her account)
I just can't seam to get through to anyone who understands or is willing to listen/help!

Any advice or should I just give up now?

I was so keen to get started yesterday - sat up all night typing up welcome sheets and info sheets for my new recruits and customers. I even had a welcome to avon text - wishing me every success with my business. Only to be told 2 hours later that my account had been rejected.

    I could cry
Look atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:
  • Can anyone tell me if you still qualify for discounts if you alter your account to friends and family account ? rather than act as a sales rep with assigned territory.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

You will always qualify for discount so long as you have reached Minimum Order Value - £78 for 20% or £148 for 25%

There is some really helpful info here directgov

Although it manages to make it all sound horribly compliated with all the weeks before this that and the other. Basically the way I understand it is you can put in a claim from 26 week, but the earliest you will get it from is 29 weeks.

Thanks, I did give the Job Centre a ring as well and they said that I could claim from that time. Puts my mind at rest.

I have decided to give up. Have thought long and hard about it all day and I think it is the best thing all round. Also I am losing my interest in it and thats not fair on my customers, I think it's got to be all or nothing tbh.
Can anyone advise me on how to construct a note to my customers? as in what to say?

I hate recanvassing so probably a good thing! I just don't want to miss out on the christmas custom:D
Thing is I do quite enjoy it but I hate trudging down some roads esp when people either don't give my books back or a I put a reminder and they still don't come back (its happened too many times recently:()
    Have pmed you btw :)

Have emailed you with a few suggestions....

For others following this thread, sometimes taking a short break can help. If you miss a campaign or two you can still be a rep but obviously needs a bit of managing. Consult with your upliner and they should, hopefully, guide you through it. If not, you have us here on MSE! :T
