Anyone else just mentally spent a more of a fortune in C17 than usual?

Loads of family pressies will be sorted out of it as well but I'll be adding non-avon stuff to them as well

Agree with you about thanking Lozza but, sorry, don't agree with your initial comment. Why should Avon reps NEED to log into AC to actually be sent a lead through? Surely the fact that they have signed up as a rep entitles them to full support from Avon direct to their website i.e. whether or not they choose to log into a forum, which a lot of people don't rate...... Sorry, but my personal opinion.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Reposting in here as I started a new thread and somehow missed this!
Just started Avon and my rep has put me on campaign 13 and somehow expects me to hit target before tomorrow
She says she has asked for my order date to be extended to Sunday, but this isn't reflected in my online account yet, so I'm not sure what to tell customers about when their products will be arriving!
Do you just place one order per campaign? So if I deliver catalogues at the start of the campaign they won't get their stuff for 3 weeks? Or can I submit weekly orders and deliver as I go along? How does the discount work, is it per order, or across the entire campaign? So confused!
Just a bit gutted that I'm v unlikely to hit target on my first campaign and it's actually going to cost me money with the start up fee which is a bit disheartening and has put me off bothering to do anything until next campaign - what would happen if I didn't submit an order at all for this run? It would have made more sense to me to start me on campaign 14 and give me a 4 day head start rather than putting me under all this pressure on day one!
Any hints and tips in general would be muchly appreciated :rotfl:
Louise
Sorry, have been busy so missed your posting.
Sounds to me like whoever signed you up does not have your interests at heart. You DO have a 14 day cooling off period (if too late for you now - sorry). If applicable in your case, email Avon and resign. Sure there are lots of SLs in your area, who will support you better than this one (won't be hard!)

I think I'm right in saying that you will only have to pay start up fees if you reach M0V of £48.
Has the rep who signed you up been round to give you hand and show you the ropes?
Good luck, if you have any questions everyone on here are always happy to help
Good advice DDAC :T (just a little point - MOV is £78+and a set-up fee will be charged for any first order irrespective of its value ). In this case it's better in my opinion to resign and find a decent upliner - in fact I'd love to ring this upliner personally and give them a piece of my mind!

Regardless of how big an order is, when you submit your first and second order you'll have the admin fee added each time £7.50). Personally, I'd tell them it isn't long enough and say you'll be ordering next time, they should have given you the choice. I've had people want to do it at such short notice, but only really people who are selling to friends/family, if you're covering a territory it isn't long enough.
Good advice. :T To take best advantage of the SmartStart scheme though it would still be better to find a new upliner, who's willing/able to offer the appropriate support. (Every new rep has a 14 day cooling off period in which to cancel their application but not many SLs/ASMs mention it.)
Have come across a couple of incidents recently where the new rep was not given the correct information and left - floundering - to their own devices. I helped in both cases (and was even 'reported'/complained about for getting involved :rotfl:) Do I care? Not a jot; two reps now have had some good training and know what they're doing.
Thanks goodness for this thread :jMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
