Agree with MM (and see IG has gone the extra mile again ) - there are 7 of these threads now, all with the basic information on the first page. Lots of useful comments too on the thousands of posts by subscribers, which is all there for the reading.

Basically, Avon can be anything you want it to be - don't expect it to be easy though.... the more effort you put in, hopefully the more rewarding it will be but the support of a good upliner is invaluable too.

Thanks for the great advice everyone especially IG, will sit down and read them all at some point all tho it will take me all day and sat working at a comp all day is bad enough

Best bet is to at least read the first post, first page, as that covers quite a lot of the "basics"

Ok, I need some advice - I have a successful avon profile, and recently created a page as well (my profile is more for recruiting, my page is for selling).

I've now got enough "likes" on my page to be able to create a username for it (I assume so that it's easier to search for??) - however you can only create a username ONCE - so I need to get it right first time!

My page is AVON *town I live in*. Unfortunately that username isn't available!!!! I could do it *town I live in* AVON - however, then theres the chance on one of my customers searching for it might go to the other persons page instead.

I've come up with BuyCosmeticsNow (as then it hasn't got avon in - and it matches in with my personal website as that has Sellcosmeticsnow in it) - but then if people are searching it won't show what its for.
RichardandLaurasAVON - not sure if thats a bit long though???
Or I could leave it till we're married and then it could be MaynardsAVON or MaynardsSellAVON or something similar, or maybe MaynardsAVON*town we live in*
I'd like it to have our town name in so its easy for people searching.....but just not sure so I'd appreciate some input on what you think would be easy for my customers to find, and for strangers to "stumble" across!

Fed up with Avon and the total lack of support I seem to get from SL, The way I feel about it at the moment I really would give it all up if I could get myself a rep as reliable as me

Well I have a rep coming to see me next week to sign me up to do it, she has saved me 149 houses in my village so its a good start

Good luck but check your Avon website - we're not allowed to have 'Avon' in our email addresses or URLs from this month.

Good luck; hope she's a Sales Leader rather than a rep tho! Not sure how she's 'saved you' territory already unless she's passing across her own streets to you.....

Oh dear, what sort of support are you needing that you're not getting (and can't get from us... :rotfl:)?

If needs be look at switching teams to a more supportive upliner. (It IS possible in certain circumstances.)
