Has anyone recently completed their 4th campaign? I hit MOV in my 3rd & 4th campaign, so was expecting some skincare samples. Didn't get these, but got a postcard to say I'd been specially selected to receive an Anew skincare product (again!) which is Anew Clinical Derma-full x 3.
Any ideas?
I think you should have received the samples as well....I was 'selected' for anew again too, I wonder how many people they 'select' haha!0 -

That's a good product; worth trying - especially when it's free. Think it was the first injectable-grade filler they brought out last year. Much better than the samples I'd say. Enjoy!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

How often do you recanvass? My ASM recommends every 6 months, once before xmas and once before summer.
Don't worry, you're not on your own. Lots of my reps are saying their sales are down at the mo (mine included). This time of year people are saving their pennies for the summer holidays. Once school starts again then people start planning for Christmas:T
As for recanvassing, I suggest every three months but totally up to you.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I'm just inputting my C13 order and wondering whether I'm going to suffer with it being the summer holidays. My 2 best sources of orders are no-gos this time (school where I work, and a hairdresser down the road who take it into work with her
) BUT I'm ordering lots of stock this time (making use of the 3for5 on the SSS in book 12
) as well as bits from the clearance in HT for Xmas pressies so that will probably more than cover the dip :rotfl:
Best get on with it before the deadline arrives :eek:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

hi everyone,
I am a newbie to this thread in a way.
Basically I have tried (and given up I am ashamed to say) on Avon twice now over the years:eek:
I feel really motivated this time and I just have to make it work, desperate for some money as things are not good, plus I am trying to get a new business off the ground so need some form of income!
So basically what can you offer as words of advice for a newbie?? any words of wisdom?
thanks, I need all the help I can get!:rotfl:LBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
When to order MMs - I'll use the Fergie one as an example.
I put my C13 order in Tuesday just gone and the HTs I could order from were the Reese Witherspoon mascara cover and the Fergie cover (with the MMs in). If I'd ordered the Fergie MMs and taken one out to demo with deliveries of C13 the customers would have had either C13 or C14 books next to look through - and the new Fergie fragrance isn't in them yet.
But if I wait until C14 to order them I can let people try it when most of my customers are moving onto book 15 with the fragrance in it. Some of my customers are on backorder so I could always wait a campaign to let them try the spray. So my plan is: they get a spray, then they get the book they can order it from straight away. If I order the MMs in C14 the HTs I can order from are the Fergie cover (now the backorder one) and the Anew Genics cover (the current one).
You could still order the MMs when they become available, but hold off on demo-ing them. If you do parties/fetes etc it could be worth ordering and demo-ing early. We have to leave 24 hours between order and delivery of MMs, which could create some extra work for you if you sell any there-and-then - unless you're happy to fit MM deliveries in with your next round of normal ones (might be anything up to a few week's wait for customers).
If you deliver books in the week between order and delivery and end up speaking to people, and offering them a spray, you could deliver any MMs during your normal delivery round.
Depends on how you run things and what kinds of things you do to get sales. I think ordering MMs as early as possible would work for some situations, but for me (territory and network customers) not so much.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

hello and welcome.
I've been doing Avn for over 8 yrs. Don't expect too much early on. You have to gain customers' trust. So Persevere.
Be 100% reliable and always apologise and acknowledge if you are late or let people down.
Be fairly thick skinned and always be friendly and cheerful. Learn your customers names (and their grandchildren and pets!)
Get really organised and plan ahead. Get the hang of creative ordering so you get some little treats yourself.
Encourage customers to try things out - make sure they all feel comfortable returning stuff with you.
I could go on. I'm sure others will contribute. Go for it!"Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0
