Morning ladies,
Question about returns. I'd submitted my online returns, waiting to be picked up tomorrow. I've just had something else returned from a customer - do I fill in a new online returns & bag it up seperately, or can I include it all in one parcel? Only have 1 Avon box here now, so would have to be an envelope or bag.
Thanks & hope you are all enjoying the sun/holsNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -

You'll need to do a separate application for credit and I gather the carriers do like returns to be kept one application/batch per box but pretty sure others have mentioned putting two return labels/bar codes in the same box and it turned out OK. Suppose you could make it 'idiot proof' and maybe attach the second returns note to the single item somehow i.e. put the envelope in the box with the 2nd returns note, making sure you put two returns labels on the box?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Don't want to take this thread off topic so I've added this question to the other thread with the Poll (will add a link when I've posted this). Just wondering, the SLs amongst us - how far do you travel normally to recruit and/or how far are you prepared to travel if you get a few decent leads reasonably close together?

Hi everyone, not Avon related but maybe we could all do with a little light relief in the summer holidays :j
There is a new entry on the Nectar Blog live so would appreciate it if any of you could visit and give it a hit or a comment.

:wave:Hi everyone,
Hope you don't mind my joining in.
I have to confess I've been a lurker on this thread ever since I became a rep two years ago and I'd like to say thank you - it's enjoyable, helpful and very friendly.
It's the first place I think of looking when I need answers.
So thanks everyone (especially some sorely missed contributors - I hope everything is going well for you)Debbie

Afternoon ....
Is there anyone currently on C15 promoting the new fragrance from Fergie? I had a call from Avon this afternoon pushing the money maker option however, I only sold 1 bottle of Fergies last fragrance so I'm hesitant!
I was thinking of ordering the 25 samples for £1.50 in HT15 as that seems an ok price and maybe the demo bottle at £10.50 to get the free purse / body spray. My question is, if I buy the bottle and demo it and no-one likes it, can I send the items back??
Any thoughts welcomed
thanks
ps. happy to help cheltenhamgal, urm but how do we give your page a 'hit'?0 -
Yes you can send back used demos. I can't remember what code I used for my last one (Herve Leger Ete). I might have chosen "fragrance not as shown" because I thought it was different to the scratch-and-sniff. Hey, it's a reason!
I sold 2 bottles of the MMs with it.
Sales calls - there's been a thread on Connects over the last couple of weeks about these and how bad a deal they are. I've never bought one, and hearing about the matte nail polishes for cost price £3 (when they were brochure price £3) a few months ago put me off. I got a call recently about bath and body products that seemed far too expensive. If you're hitting HOV you can buy the products in the packs for less than they're offering on the phone. The word on Connects was that you can return single items from packs if you want - doesn't have to be all or nothing.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Welcome, Elfridi, and thanks for finally posting. Seems scarey when you first start, eh? I used to help manage a forum and our biggest discussion point was how to encourage new members to post because they were wary of what reaction they'd get to whatever they posted. Glad to say, we're a lovely lot on here and it's also one of the first places I log onto every day (when I'm around) too. Used to be a really busy thread - no ideas what happened; I miss the old contributors too but see we have lots of newbies. :T
It's surprising how quickly you go from thinking you know nothing to helping others so look forward to reading lots more posts from you now you've dipped your toe in the water!

Think am definitely 'odd', I didn't like the original Herve Leger but love the Ete; didn't like the original Fergie but am hoping I will like the new one.
As for MM's, I only ever do them if I (think am going to) like the product anyway. Again, it's a win/win situation because you get to give your customers the heads up about a new product before it appears in the book so that makes them feel 'special'; you get 6 weeks to try and sell and if not, you can still return them once invoiced. :T
As for returning single items from packs, even if items appear en bloc on your written invoice it's worth searching by item on your website to see if they're available to return for credit.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
