Thankyou, I wasn't too sure of the rules!

Just to back up - I'd go back to them and if anyone asks they're now F&F as far as I would see it. Ridiculous to expect you not to serve customers that want Avon and aren't being served by anyone else.My Debt Free Diary

Yep keep the customers - and make sure to let your customers know you'll give them a free gift/discount for referring customers - then it'll mean they'll let you know who else nearby wants a book and you're not actually recanvassing then
I offer my existing customers a free gift, usually 1l bubble bath, and give new customer 10% off their first order to say thank you to them.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Hi I was after some advice if anyone can help, I have emailed 2 Reps but not heard back. I have tried selling Avon twice over the years but failed to make any money on both occassions. I don't know many people and although I have 2 children I home educate them so don't meet many people either. I love the Avon products and do use them although I haven't purchased in a while as my Rep never gave me a new book? I would love to make a go of Avon but do feel put off by my previous attempts. When I signed up before I literally signed on the line was given some books and that was it. There was no help. training or anything to help me build a business, is it still like this?0

can anyone give me a bit of advice, have rushed to place my order a day late and realised I have missed two orders off, think I read that someone rang the helpline to add orders to their submitted order before. Do you think it is too late for me to do this, can't ring until tomorrow morning now  don't want to place an additional order because it doesn't meet MOV, any help greatly appreciated.0

Have heard conflicting stories on this. My ASM told me nothing could be done when I did this. You could always order some extra stock for you additional order, bargains etc and if they don't sell then you can retuen themStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

I would say, if you are serious, then sit down with a cuppa and wade through the previous Avon thread (link on front page of this one), and follow that with this one. I think that will give you everything you need to make your mind up. Sign-up and support are determined by the person signing you, so well worth some research there too. Hi,
Sounds like you are deffo on the right track if you love/know the products to start with. The key is to find a supportive SL - ideally near you but with the advent of the Internet/email etc. then just search for a 'hands on' upliner. There's plenty of hints/tips on here too and, of course, there's always Avon Connects..... Hmm... For some reason, this thread is a lot quieter than it was a few months ago but I still prefer 'our' thread on MSE. :T
Quite a while ago I did start another thread so we could 'vote' for where we were in the UK i.e. thought it may help us all in some way. If you can't find it, just repost and I'll search it out for you tomorrow (a bit late now).
Good luck.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Check the status of your order under 'Order Tracking' (or something similar) if it says 'Received' then call the helpline asap and they may be able to add the items on but if it says 'Prepared' then it's too late.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hello girls. Im after a bit of advise, if i may
I've got something i need to return, but im not ordering from current book. Tried to contact my representative but all she said is "go online and click credits". I dont have any customers, I do Avon for my own use only and as I said, am not ordering this time and not sure when will be ordering again.
