I don't think it's very fair to do online only offers that we cannot match  It's the reps that do the hard work after all.
Having the week from hell! My Dad had an accident, air ambulance the whole works, in a wheel chair for brokens bones to heal, and seing specialists today. This happened on order day, so I ended up with a late rushed submission. Then, hadn't had a chance to get money in bank to clear balanceOnly noticed this morning the order was held, they didn't ring or email or anything, have paid though so hoping it won't be too delayed. Then had some late orders, enough to make an extra order worthwhile, so submitted it last night... Only to receive an order this morning!!
OH is due to go away to work, to try and reduce our money worries, but with everything else going on, it's going to be very hard going. If you got this far, thanks for reading. Feel better for just getting it all out!
If anyone knows, when I am likely to receive my orders, that would be really helpful. Normal delivery is monday, and extra order submitted when I paid to get my original one released (last night). TIA
Oh dear, hope your dad recovers quickly.
As for your order, check under 'Track Your Order' to see what status is quotes. If it's still showing as held, ring Avon to let them know you've paid your bill. (A/cs Dept only work Monday to Friday so good idea to do it today.) Similar thing happened to a rep on my team, she paid the last bit yesterday, I rang my SL helpline for her but was told the order had already been released and it arrived this morning. :T Hope yours arrives as quickly.
As for the online offer, yes, agree with you; I posted it up though because with the cashback some reps may think it's worth ordering i.e. as a retail customerMy guess is that the Glam box will appear in our HT clearance sooner or later - looks like it wasn't exactly a good seller.

missminx sorry i cant help with questions but i hope your dad is on the mend soon. father in law broke his heal this time last year and although it was quite a while before up and about again he hasnt been too badly affected by it luckily.
Do sales tend to pick back up again after school holidays? This campaign has been very slow for me, and although i have 4 new customers already this time round average order values are much lower. last month were almost £16 were as this month they are around £8. Just hoping my last collection today will bring in a few more orders
Yes, hopefully sales will start to increase now in the run up to Christmas. Fingers crossed. Talking of which, my own sales are not brilliant at the mo either so I need to get out and drop some more books.

Ty MC. It has changed to prepared for my original, and received for additional. Think I will just phone the courier on Monday morning and see if it is out for delivery.
Thank you both for good wishes for my Dad, he needs to be in hospital, just in the short term but they won't keep him in. He cannot stand, has a broken pelvis, query broken hip (currently having more x-rays) and an undiagnosed (as yet) shoulder injury as well as bruised ribs and countless cuts and bruises.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
How long does a pot of anew night cream last? just wondering as i have a customer who loves it and just wondered how long before they order again! (cheely i know but at £20 a pot its good to get).
Also i can find lots on the breast cancer charity work that avon does but read somewhere that we support domestic violence. Is there anywhere i can look and get more information on this as a group (domestic violence support group) run by a friend has asked for a book to look through and i wanted to let them know what we do for their charity.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
Debt £2547.60 / £2547.600 -
My hint and tip is from the potential customer perspective.
Please take the trouble to knock. Don't just dump and run.
Please do not leave your brochure outside my house in the wind and rain announcing to every passing burglar that I am away.
If you or your note says you will be back on or by a certain date then keep your promise thanks.
The last Avon person to come to this area just left her brochures outside, no knock and never came back, ever.0 -

It's probably going to be a couple of months I would reckon - and/or the next time it's on offer make sure you point it out and she may like to take advantage of the offer and keep one in stock.
Seem to recall the other charity supported by Avon is Women's Refuge. It's been a while since it was mentioned though so, sorry, don't have any other details. Is there anything on the website?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thanks, Pineapple; that's exactly what I tell all my team.
Unfortunately, some reps are very shy though and wary of 'knocking and asking'. It is their choice how they run their Avon business within Avon's T&C's but hopefully your feedback will encourage a few more to convert to knocking and asking rather than stuffing and running.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I must admit, I tend to stuff and run on first deliveries, but with intro note and opt in/ out option, if when go back to collect books it has not been left out I always knock and ask for it, and then query if they would like to continue receiving it. I just prefer not to disturb people in their own homes and generally find this option works well for me.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0

Thanks, each to their own, TL. There's also the thought that if someone receives a book through their door i.e. when they get home, they are more likely to look at it rather than just refuse it if asked out of the blue. There's no right/wrong way - as you say, whatever works for you.
Little tip though to all, who stuff and run; it's worth at least asking at one of the houses just to double check that the territory's not been allocated (twice). Happened here recently and took hours to collect back in all the books not to mention consoling two new reps, who both wanted to resign!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
