Sadly I have decided to resign from Avon. I just can't make it pay. I'm very skint so can only afford to get 15 books each campaign and I run 2 campaigns at a time so can cover 30 houses, but then find it is like getting blood out of a stone to get the books back so only manage to cover about 90 houses. And i only have 2 customers who order regularly but their orders are £10-£20 every other campaign so I've never hit MOV so have made no money from doing it.
It's a shame as i have enjoyed doing Avon and wanted to make a success of the business but I can't afford to keep on working for free and spending money I don't have, not to mention the time it takes.
I have seen many people in this past month leaving Avon, 3 members of my SL team have gone, Plus my SL husband also has his team. He started the year with 10, He know has 0. Alot of reps are finding it really hard this past few months (Me also) & i've only just started! I'm currently £38 out of pocket, hence why i'm pushing C12! xFuture goals:

Hi
I was wondering if any SL out there could help me. I am a trainee SL and have reached the stage where I have to order my own packs for new Reps. I ordered 3 packs and I have received
3X ‘Say Hello To a New Tomorrow’ packs with all the booklets in to sign people up
2X HT brochures
3 X packs of order forms
15X C12 Avon books
What should I receive when I order 3 appointment packs? As I am assuming that one of the HT brochures and one pack of order forms are mine. I am also in a right mess with books as I thought you got 20 when you ordered an appointment pack. Do you need to order the books separately?
I thought I had ordered 15 packs of C13 books for myself, however I have C12 books and I can’t figure out if I have put it in wrong or if they are for my Reps?
If it helps my invoice says the following:
ITEMS WITH NO DISCOUNT
3 Packs C12 Sales Leader Brochures
3 Appointment Pack
1 Single C13 Brochure
ITEMS SUPPLIED WITH THIS ORDER AT NO COST
3 Pack of 100 Customer Order Forms
1 Pack of 10 C12 Sales Flyers
1 Hello Tomorrow 14

The packs for signing up are the appointment packs and will have a big booklet in explaining about Avon, a calling book and various leaflets. It's a sealed pack so everything should be in there. For every appointment pack you order you'll get a pack of order forms.
For brochures, it's ordered the same as your brochures - so if you want 3 sealed packs,'you want 60 books so order 12 packs on the website as theyre done in packs of 5 on the website.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Thanks for clearing that up! I will have to magic some books up somehow. If I don't get 3 sign ups in the six weeks after ordering my appointment packs, how much do they charge you per pack?M May11 55886.810 -
You'll get one for you, and then one for every pack of 20 books after that. As you didn't order enough books for 3 reps that's why you haven't been sent many.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Just a suggestion - you need to be ordering your brochures much further in advance than when you're just a rep. This is especially important if you're signing people who are in much earlier mailplans than yourself. Otherwise you won't have the right brochures to give them. It will cost more while you sort out getting books for the next few campaigns in one go - but otherwise you won't have the right brochures to give them for their second campaign, which you should be giving them when you see them to show them how to orderAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Hi, sounds like you could do with some help from your upliner - have you asked?
Are you dropping books to houses whether they actually want to see a book or not? If your territory is anything like mine then you'll be lucky to find 1 customer out of every 10 houses so..... knock and ask. No point buying a book to leave it where's it's not wanted.
Again, if you have 90 houses, chances are you will have 9/10 customers there - somewhere..... The knack is to find them. Equally, if you only have 9/10 customers, you can easily service them with one pack of books and even use your books on your back campaign to find new customers.
Are you on Face Book/Twitter? If so, have you tried putting the e-brochure on your page and getting orders from your F&F that way?
Is your upliner near you? Maybe they could help you with the cost of your books and/or help you find new customers?
Have you told all your friends and family that you're an Avon rep i.e. and asked them to at least look at your book? In the present economic climate, really can't see why your friends/family won't take advantage of all the great offers - have you actually asked them?
Just a few ideas but really think you should contact your upliner and give them a chance to help you get the most out of Avon rather than just jacking it in. Totally up to you though......Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Not a good campaign 11 here
Just picked up my 3rd drop (2 more to go) plus all the catalogues from customers who ordered last time.... 1 order for £4
I know it can't be good all the time, but I hope I at least reach MOV although not looking good
Anyone else having a shocker?
I was but it's somehow dragged itself through, was worried earlier this week as I had hardly anything but I've had a few people ordering since then and I'm nearly at my usual order value now, got one more lot of books to pick up tomorrow so I think I will get there - I'm sure you will too0 -
