My ASM has said that missing two in a row leads to having territory removed (argh, petrified now, got a knee op looming) so could this be what !!!!!! means?
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
After 2 camps it looks as though you've dropped off the system, but when you order your account is still ok. It's longer than 2 camps before you're account is closed.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Don't panic. Just let your ASM know about your forthcoming knee op (and your customers too).
When I missed a few campaigns last year I actually got two of my customers on my territory to look after the rest of them - I let them have the commission, of course, and access to HT so they were well chuffed. They managed fine between them and even picked me up some new customers!
It's never a good idea just to take a break anyway without any cover. If that's not an option for you, maybe you could do what was suggested a few pages back and drop all your customers a note forewarning them that 'service will be limited' but they could always collect a book/their order from you and, of course, view the brochure online too. They should appreciate being kept in the loop and may even help gel your relationship with them.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thanks, yes, it takes 6 months to actually fall away from your upline team so they reckon 8-9 campaigns. I thought it would be a good idea for !!!!!! to clarify his statement though because it could sound a bit 'scarey' to some reps.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Loyalty schemes are one thing but there may be some legal reason against your voucher scheme i.e. wouldn't that mean you were offering some sort of 'credit', which may need a license? Even if not, what guarantee have your potential customers got that you will still be a rep at Christmas-time?
Sorry to put a dampener on things; theoretically it sounds a good idea but not sure how practical it will be.
No, you don't need a license, and you are not offering 'credit' in that sense. You are selling the gift voucher itself, the person who receives it isn't entitled to cash from you, just the value of products. It's also a little different here, as I actually 'know' most of my customers pretty well. People know if you sneeze, faster than you can grab a tissue round here! I don't plan on marketing them now for Xmas, but birthdays etc. My friend has just started out doing beauty treatments as well, so me may combine the vouchers as they are individually identifiable and we will be able to divide the money that way. We will know who sold it and who it was redeemed with.
I agree, that you could have people worry how long you will remain as a rep, but I think once you establish yourself it has potential.
Good to see you back MC, have been wondering about you being quiet! Hope all is well with you?Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Hi silly question alert! i know there is probably no real answer (piece of string comes to mind), but if a product is out of stock, is there a normal length of time before it arrives? Also would it be sent seperately or would it come with the next order? ThanksMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Glad to see you've gone into it thoroughly and seems a good idea to do a 'Joint Venture' with your friend's beauty treatments. Good luck; keep us informed. (Know what you mean about the 'sneezing' :rotfl:)
Thanks, yes, glad to be back - been away for a few months and then working hard on getting to the next level. Fingers crossed I'll be ASL in C12!:j (Hope I haven't jinxed it now!)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

No questions are silly on here, honest. If something is out of stock it generally comes with your next order but if it's still o-o-s then there will be a note on your invoice whether to still keep expecting it in your next campaign or whether it's sold out. The notes are easy to miss - they're always right at the end of your invoice.
If you are desperately wanting something you could email Avon via the 'contact us' section of your website and/or even ring Fast Track. (If you have a helpful upliner then they could try and find out for you too.)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hiya ladies.
I was wondering if anyone here has done Avon a while. As this question is more about the tax side of things.
When i registered with the tax office, They said to me i needed to provide all rep's for anything i buy for my Avon business & All Avon bills.
So, I'm keeping my invoices - As this also shows my Avon expense.
But, Recently i needed to buy some things like:-
A printer, My old one was burnt out, So i had no choice but to buy one, Local library charges 25p a print.
Mobile phone credit - I was told i can claim this back, Most of my customers ask me to call or text them before i'm due to arrive, So they can have the cash there.
When offering a free gift, Do i claim the charge as a expense?
Sorry for all the questions, Only i need to know, What to keep now, Whilst i'm starting out!!
Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0
