Are you already working as an Avon rep? I'd recommend you get at least a few campaigns under your belt as a rep first so you can build up your sales (otherwise you won't benefit from your SL work) and teach your team from experience.

You always put it so well! I just had a look at some of your posts Honest John, I can see you've been investigating the kleeneze thing. Having read that thread now and again I am glad that I do this rather than that. You just need the same information from here
You do pay for books, but you only pay for delivery if your order is under £10 / or is an extra order.
We can register credits on the website for anything not delivered / delivered broken / faulty.
We don't pay up front for the goods (you do have a credit limit to begin with though)
You need to be hitting HOV of £148 to get 25% commission
As IGeek says, you need these sales to make a being an SL work
HTHStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Oh dear I have a big red cross next to the Anew Wrinkle Zone Line Smoothing Duo Deep, which 3 of my customers have ordered:(
It may still appear.... If not, tell your customers it has been delayed due to popularity of the itemand give them a little gift or something as a good will gesture maybe

Hiya all,
I'm starting a new road, This weekend. My SL has told me that its not a full Territory because its half a road, That Avon need to build up. My SL was working this, But she hasn't got the time to really give it a good go.
She has told me that she has had a few people ask for no more books, But also, There is quiet a few who have recently become regulars.
So i'm now wondering, If i take it over, What is my best way to keep these customers. I don't want them to think that each book is going to give them a new rep -(This has happened in the past*)
I'm thinking of starting off like i did with current territory offering special discounts or free gifts for orders over £X amount?
How would you guys approach this?? :j
Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -

If they have been ordering from her, could you ask her to give you an introduction? Maybe a note from both of you, just explaining that you will be looking after them from now on so that they see it as a continuation?Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Honest John - yes you can sign people up anywhere and they can be working anywhere. If the people you sign up would like to canvas streets they would need to have some allocated to them (so the "they can work anywhere" can't be taken too literally
).

It would be reassuring to sign up under someone who has decided the opportunity is worth carrying on with, who you know isn't going to quit anytime soon. Not saying you would do that, but there are reps out there who start as a SL during their first few campaigns and find both sides of their business (repping and recruiting) a struggle to the point where they give up as a SL and possibly as a rep, too.
Thanks very much I Geek for the info
So it is possible & pretty much like the Kleeneze operation BUT without so much BS & charges

Thanks again missminx hows the beautiful Welsh valleys today. My grandmother was a Mountain Ash girl
I had a nice chat with a young lady from my part of the world near Tackley, Oxon BUT I did say I was going to call her back.
Hadn't been on this site for a while & yes I do have some contacts with Kleeneze & Betterware. The pieces I was writing about Kleeneze did lead to my contact @ Betterware being spoken too as the MD of Kleeneze complained about me to the MD of Betterware. Didn't like the thruth being put out on the public domain.
Avon are a great compnay with a great reputation, yes they've not always got it right BUT in the main you'll only get out of it what you put in
I do like the principle of MLM/Network marketing as I tend to always get on really well with people. I'm not interetsed in the money aspect as that is a secondary concern
I am however VERY BORED so looking to get my teeth(Nice teeth on this icon) into something
What do you suggest :money:

Well, thank you John
lol All good in Wales today, thanks.
If you fancy Avon, get yourself a cup of tea / alcoholic beverage and make your way through the thread from the beginning! You will find almost everything you need. I would seriously recommend being a rep first, but you will get excellent advice from the resident SLs on here to help you. Further back in the thread there is more info such as costs and benefits of becoming an SL and how many reps you need, and how much they need to be selling. Hope you find it helpful here, is a tad more friendly than the 'other' thread!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
