Oh dear, MrsGR, sounds like you've got an awful lot on your plate at the mo. Agree with NB, cut your Avon down to a manageable level for yourself - nothing is more important than you and your family.

Keep looking after your regulars if you can and maybe drop a note into the rest of your territory saying that you are still continuing as a rep but for personal reasons won't be able to call at their door as regularly. Leave the option open for them to come to you if needs be. Some customers will happily come to you.

Your ASM should allow you to keep your territory provided you put an order in every campaign but if that gets too much for you then, as NB says, just cherry-pick which customers you can look after and keep them as F&F.

One of my customers is a real pain to deliver to so I regularly 'starve' her of a book (or four!). Usually, she tracks me down - eventually - and puts in a decent order.;)

    Good luck!

Thanks, I don't want to give up my regulars cos they are lovely (on one road I have loads- who order every camp)

Good idea about "starving" people of books, I have many people who say they want a book but just never bother looking so I haven't given them the last few. I had a customer who after repeated door knocks and notes through the door has not returned her book, whats so difficult about leaving it by your door? and last time she decided she needed to use the book bag for something so never got that back so I have decided that I won't give her a book anymore. CBA to chase people!

I am worried that if I just keep regulars that I won't be able to go back on territory when I can manage it:(

Has anyone ordered the Daily Shine set out of HT, the one where the codes need putting in separately? I've got one on my order but when I look at the view subtotal its not working itself out as £3.50. Am I doing something wrong or does it right itself on the 'real' invoice?

Oh dear, just had a look at that, I won't be making any money on that campaign.

I'm thinking exactly the same thing! Just to make things even worse, I'm due to put my order in for that one mid-september so in the majority of prior campaigns I'll also be short since I won't be at my other job (volunteer in a school). Looks like I may have to stick to my very thrifty Xmas again! :(

I can't do a damn thing about it, particulalry if she is not working with the ASM.

Like you say, check this isn't an admin error first, but once you've ruled that out there's no excuse for the SL canvassing for customers where they like. The fact they've gone to every house makes it sound less likely they've been doing the street for a long time legitimately. Unless you've caught them during a re-canvas it's unlikely they're still going to every single house if they've had the street for a long time.

Is your ASM contact-able? Even if they're a bit difficult keep pestering because they should be able to put the SL straight. Make it clear they're canvassing for customers, not just reps - order form included etc.

Put a note in with your books and/or start knocking on doors to canvas any streets left for you to cover, making it clear you're the allocated rep. If you think she's taken customers/potential customers from streets you've started already, speak to as many people as you can to explain you're the allocated rep. If customers have already gone with her, and aren't used to you, there might not be much you can do since the customer can go with who they like, but your existing customers will most likely remain loyal. If they've given orders to the other rep re-take them and ask the customers to turn the other rep away.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Hi I haven't posted for a while as I had but my Avon business on hiatus as I have been busy moving house, starting a new job and applying to do an MA in Social Work in September. I paid some money I owed to Avon on Friday on the website but it is still not showing as paid even though Avon have taken the money from my bank. I applied to change my address too, how long does this take to be updated and does my new SL/ASM contact me? I also want to become a Sales Leader myself! What should I be given when I sign up to be an SL?

The SL whose information I came across had delivered brochures with order forms and delivery date to every house, in the street allocated to me and also in the bag was a flyer trying to recruit new reps to her team as well. Now obviously it maybe there has been an admin error on the ASM's part and she has wrongly allocated me that territory. But if this SL is working independantly of ASM or if you like on her own initiative what is to stop this SL deciding to canvas and deliver brochures for orders to my other territory which as I said is very near to where this has occured. It seems I could work these streets and then this SL could start taking business from me, either for herself or a new rep and I can't do a damn thing about it, particulalry if she is not working with the ASM.

Deffo email your ASM with that information, TL. SL's shouldn't be doing that - not even if they are canvassing the street on behalf of a new member of their team i.e. to give them a head start.

What about keeping the streets where your regulars are and releasing the ones you don't want? If you email your ASM/SL (do both as a belt & braces) and let them know that whilst you wish to continue as a rep, for personal reasons you need to 'downsize' for a while. List which streets you would like to keep and/or whether you just wish to revert to a F&F rep. Then, when the time is right for you, email them again to say you would now like extra territory. Sure they'll appreciate being kept in touch with your 'modus operandi' and should give you every support when you've got over your current probs.

    Good luck.

It showed as £3.50 for the set on my C10 invoice.

It takes a while (24/48 hours) for credits and payments to appear on your online a/c - certainly should all 'catch up' once you've got past your next order deadline. Certain depts. within Avon only work Monday-Fridays too and think A/c's may be one of them.

All the information about buying your business pack (£25) is on your website but it's up to your upliner to 'tag' you. Hope you've got a supportive upline because it can make all the difference when trying to build your own team.

    Good luck.
