Does anyone think the HOV smart start level 2 'reward' is a bit pants? I got a couple of fragrance samples, a lipstick sample and a couple of skincare samples. Rubbish :(

Stage 2 (campaign 2) HOV award does seem less impressive than most of the others, I am wondering if you have not really been sent the right amount of samples as that amount seems downright stingy, I have yet to place my campaign 2 order but will be quite gutted if that is all you get, not really a big motivation to reach the HOV is it? , perhaps your SL or ASM could inform you if that seems the right amount for the higher order value.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

    have updated the links again.

Yes we all have awkward customers - I think I have another one that's going to be "banned", went to deliver when we said, her daughter said she's away, no money, come back friday....went back friday - no answer. Put a calling card through asking them to ring us, a week later nothing. I rang and left a voicemail. Week later still nothing, so they've had a letter put in with the next brochure asking them to contact me by MOnday else it's going back. Funnily enough noone has contact me yet, so looks like it'll be going back! sometimes it's just not worth the hassle!

Well she's actually rang today and still wants her order and says shell leave the money out got me. Sometimes threatening them politely can work!

I've been doing Avon for a while now (since sep) and do enjoy the extra bit of income. However I rarely get past £40 these days which isn't as much as some people are making!

Any ideas on how I can up this?

    thanks

It appear that Avon no longer send a confirmation email for both Sending Payment and Submitting Order.

It leaves me slightly unsettled and I find myself having to re-check these actions to make sure they've actually gone through.

I wonder WHY they have stopped this - hardly costing them much, but it helps us reps.

Hi Kathy, I started in October :) I have to be honest at the moment, I need to be putting more effort in to up my sales / customer base :o. I am trying to do it now as I want to give up my part time job. This weekend, I have been canvassing people I know as they are easier to speak to. I've prepped books and then just said " I'm doing Avon so brought this for you to have a look at, I saw 'x' product I thought you may like " or in the case of C10, the hair dyes as a new product are good for re canvassing people who don't normally buy.
Expanding your business depends on personal circumstances, do you have children, do you have a job, do you have a local pub or anything where you socialise?
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

Good Avon day today! Just picked up & most people had left them on doorstep:j

When i got home & added up all orders so far, I've hit HOV. :T Chuffed, as a few days after I'd signed up I was having serious doubts.

    A question for you:

    - How big is your patch (number of houses)
    - Was that what you were originally allocated, or did you get more later?
    - How often do you give each customer/house a catalogue? Each campaign or alternate etc

    Good luck everyone :)
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

    Grr!

My internet is going really slow at the moment as well.

So I don't know whether it has gone through now or not

I'll have to check the website later.

    Thanks
