Thats not good at all.

Have just heard back from the ASM as the 33 houses we were assigned for our first campaign didnt bring any rewards although still managed to make HOV from F&F, which we are pleased about.

ASM has assigned us a batch of streets adjoining each other totalling 255 houses!!!

This is excellent news and as soon as our Brochures are back on Wednesday we will go knocking the doors in the new area.

Planning a car boot for end of May Bank holiday and was thinking of doing all items £1 from the current brochures, or my other thoughts were the bumper box of 50 items for £50 and put either our avon business card in each bag or a brochure for the sake of say £10 on brochures we could have a chance of picking up some extra customers.

I didn't realise until recently that the online version of your invoice is only available for a limited time. If you open the invoice and right click on it you can save a copy of it, so if you're daft like me and lose things, you will be able to access or print them as and when you need. Hope this is useful to someone
Not doing well at the moment. Missing returns, missing half my order, wrong brochures and no beat the high street.... Someone remind me why I do this please???!!!! :eek:

Just wanted to say Hi- longtime lurker, but took the plunge today to register!

I joined Avon in Feb, after moving back to my home to be closer to my family. I was staying with my mum at the time of signing up so requested to do a round on the road that I was buying on (& surrounding roads) got no joy until I moved 2 weeks ago! So basically I'm just starting out properly (been selling to family & friends).

Was thinking about writing a small letter introducing myself and giving dates of when I'll collect the brochures and delivery dates.

Would welcome any tips! I hope to use my Avon money to over pay my mortgage (that board is inspiring/addictive!)

Hi :hello: welcome to the thread! Hehe just in time for my mini meltdown, good timing! I would say, try and work your way through the old thread (link on page one of this one ) and this one if you haven't made it all of the way through yet. It is definitely the most valuable source of information for avon. And remember no question is too stupid to ask (at least I keep telling myself that anyway )
I decided to pay for fliers to be printed professionally for doing this, it was a big outlay, but as they work out at less then a penny each they are probably cheaper than all the printing I would have needed to do. If you are serious about it, that may be a consideration. Good Luck

Yay I got an order!!! Only just under £9 but it is a start, and I can get my books out again tomorrow and collect Thurs to meet the order deadline.

Hi I am a New Avon Rep,
I just did my first campaign and actually managed to get above the HOV on my first go, admittedly friends and family were the biggest buyers. I had a terrible time today geting onto the website in the end a specialist tech from Avon HQ to help as it was a bit of a nightmare, but all done now but was pretty stressful for a time as had to place my order by end of today and only signed up last Tuesday.
I noticed in some earlier posts that some people have been given streets already covered by an existing rep, this has also happened to me to a small extent, and one nice lady whom I had put a brochure through her door kindly wrote me a note to inform me, I then let my SL know, she told me to continue to canvas as no one is offically registered to that territory. I think my issue with this was on a small scale though as seems the current rep may only be going to those who regularly give her orders as my friend also lives in same street and she never gets a brochure from this other rep and had not seen a brochure through the door for over a year. I know the name of the Rep but have no contact number as would like to chat to her to make sure I am not stepping on her toes if I continue to canvass this territory, is there any way to search for a specific rep on avon connects?

Hi Tiggerlilly, I have this too, people have a regular rep in some of the streets I have, some have said they don't want a book. But a couple asked me to still put it through anyway and they do seem to be reading it so I can only hope that they might one day order. After all, situations change and one day their rep may stop doing Avon.

I put my back order books out this morning, picking those up on Wednesday. Getting my order on Thursday. And I am so fed up trying to get people to take delivery of their orders that this time I am putting notes through all their doors telling them I will deliver on Friday evening and to contact me if it is not suitable.

If you find a few customers of another rep on a street there's several things it could be:

- the rep advertised and people contacted her
- recommendations
- they know them - serving them as friends and family customers
- they used to have the street allocated and picked the customers up by canvassing. Once the street was de-allocated they were allowed to keep the customers, but shouldn't be canvassing the rest of the street anymore
- they canvassed outside their allocated streets (not allowed)

I got a street and customers of another rep said someone else covered it and nicely said that I wouldn't have much luck. Like you I checked with the ASM and she said it was definitely mine to cover. The other rep had cherry-picked long ago and I picked up customers of my own who had no idea another rep served customers on the street.

If you want to get in contact with the rep you could try Connects, but I think only a first and second name would help you find them (unless they have an unusual first name). Some reps don't show their full name online so you may not be able to find them even then. You could still ask the ASM to make sure the rep knows the street is allocated and to expect to see someone else's books out. Or write a note and ask one of their customers to pass it on when they next see the rep - making clear that you're not out to steal their customers, double-checked with the ASM it was allocated to you, etc...

Is there some kind of auto email thing where sales leaders send automatic emails to say you've missed a campaign? only I got one this morning after putting my C8 order in last night, bit worried now that it wont come or something It's showing on the website though, so I guess I'll be fine

Question re - replacements

If a customer wants to replace some underwear with another size and the item is no longer in either current catalogue, is there a way of replacing it?
