AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Sorry - just need to vent! Got a poor rep who is now on her third lot of territory - she gets given roads, then finds out someone is covering them! She's been very patient so far bless her, but understandably she's rather fed up now, especially as she can't get any orders from friends/family (her aunt is a silver pc member, so all family are sticking with her!). I have a suspicion that the old manager has left things in a mess, so now the new area manager is left trying to sort things out as they arise - but isn't much consolation for my rep.
Then there's my sodding mother in law: as you can see from my sig, I get married in September. My sister has arranged a hen party weekend in August, took her ages finding a weekend that everyone was free. Mother in law now can't make it, which is fine - but I only know because my OH told me. I mentioned to my sister, she said yes MIL had told her, but my sis hadn't mentioned anything as she was waiting till I'd been told my MIL.
I get a text last night from MIL - how about doing a comedy night for us all (me, OH, her, and her hubby), our treat as I can't make your hen night.
No: sorry I can't make your hen night how about we do this.
I was very tempted to text back "O can't you? You never mentioned it!".
OH said she'd probably forgot and thought she'd told me (yes as she's told everyone bar me!), but no, he's found out it's because she figured my sister would tell me!!!!! She never asked my sister to tell me, and understandably my sister figured MIL would tell me herself!
I mean come on - is it unreasonable to expect that my MIL could tell me herself (even if via an email if she couldn't face doing it in person) and just say "sorry"??
The woman drives me crazy, she left OH to be raised by his grandparents, she's forever asking him to do things, we never ask for any favours in return, and she certainly never volunteers to do anything in return either (she's very childish, and very selfish) - and to be honest, in a way, I'm glad she isn't going to the hen do as at least she can't wind me up. It's the fact that she couldn't just say sorry! I'm a lovely, laid back person, I've never had words with her (as tempted as I've been!), but no, she can't just say one little word!!!! I'd been hoping, that for once in OH life, that she might put him (and me) first - she's only got one human son (she has 2 dogs who she takes better care of than she ever has for OH) and he will only be getting married the once, but no, she's still incapable of behaving like a mother. I suppose I'd foolishly hoped that after the carp of the last few years (loosing OH uncle, his grandad, his great aunt, and my grandad - all in time since we set the date for the wedding) that she'd pull together for us and be an adult for once. But I think I've realised now, to never, ever, expect anything from her, not even just a one word apology!, then at least I won't end up hurt and upset like I was last night.
Apologies for ranting about family stuff on here - but hard to complain to my family about her else it makes them dislike her more lol, and certainly can't on facebook as she's on there lol - feel better now I've got it off my chest!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Oh Lozza, what a pain! *hugs*
Sigh. I know I should have knocked for the remainder of my books on Thursday when I went to collect, but I've been so low this past few days I couldn't face it. Wonder how many I'll get back now

Lozza - some people hey?! They think the whole world revolves round them...
I'm in need of a bit of a rant too - been a rep since about November last year, and have never heard from my SL since I went round to her house to sign up....Never had a second meeting, no training to complete order online etc, and when I recently had a territory query, I contacted the ASM instead as I seemed to get mails from her each campaign reminding us about order dates etc...
Anyway yesterday she updated her facebook status asking all her reps to let her know if we aren't ordering in c9 as she needs "orders to go thru so she gets her exec back", and then an email to say we need to let her know of any returns we are doing in c9, 10 and 11 as there is "a new test on and i need to keep a check on it"
Just a bit annoyed by it all seeing as she hasn't bothered to get in touch for the past 5 months, and now she needs something it's suddenly different!!! I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -

Ooo - think I saw that post too, and thought myself it was cheeky to ask that - but particuarly if you don't hear from much anyway! I know you've probably already checked in the past - but do her emails go to your inbox, Perhaps she has emailed and they've been sent to junk/spam? If not, I'd let her know how you feel - a lot of people *want* to just be left to it, I know I have no end of reps who I never hear from, apart from when they have a problem (which is fine) - however for all the effort I go to (email with ideas every campaign, I've recently made a facebook group for them to put some stuff on there) it would be nice to have a bit more feedback to say if they'd tried an idea and how it worked, it's nice to know how they're getting on. But a lot of people don't want any contact so you can't always get it right for everyone. Maybe if you tell her how you feel, and particuarly how you feel about her post on facebook, she might change how she operates which will be better for you xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Yay, glad I dragged my butt out for the stragglers- picking up another order tomorrow morning, as he's given the book to a friend as she wanted to order, and he's getting it back tonight so he can put his order on too

I can't remember who posted, but someone had an anniversary gift with the carp bag and the golden dream nail polish??? I had this too. It actually turns out that golden dream makes a fantastic top coat over coloured varnish. Thought I would share this to try and make the gift useful! Seems unfair that our loyalty is rewarded with carp when you think how low the cost price to avon is on some quite decent stuff :silenced:Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0

Just had my delivery... including an empty, but sealed delivery box???? Haven't had a chance to go through and check it yet. Hope it doesn't mean lots of items are missing and should be in that box! They are still trying to find over £100's worth of returns that are missing :mad:Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0
