I'd say thats fine - if you leave them any longer then people will definately forget to leave them out. In your first campaign especially, you need to try and cover as much of your territory as possible to get some orders. In time - when you know who definately wants a brochure, you can leave them for say a week, but thats only cos you know they've ordered in the past and you should get the book back from them. If you did that in the beginning, you'd probably find most of them had been thrown away by people who didn't want a book, as they wouldn't want it hanging around the house/doorstep for that length of time.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Can I ask if anyone had sucess doing a Christmas fair/fete?
I did one this christmas and it was not good although the whole fair wasn't as busy as usual due to another on the same night. Anyway the thing is to do it I like to buy some cheap bits through the year from clearance and then some on normal order. The table is going to cost me £15 this year and just not sure what to do. Don't want to end up out of pocket.
Any sucess stories out there and if so can I be cheeky and ask what sold well. Thanks
Hi stepmumm,
I did 2 christmas fayres/fetes over the christmas period. with one of the stalls I managed to sell 2 nail varnishes and a few other bits as they were for secret santa! the other was a total flop! paid £10 for a table plus a raffle prize and made £2! had a little girl ask her mum for something for the mum to reply 'oh come along, we already have an avon rep we dont need a new one!'
I'm doing another stall in February for a ladies night so hopefully that will be abit of a success! got more time to prepare things ready e.g. a raffle, lucky dip.
Im hoping this one is more of a success then the last two.

If the former, then good on you - that's going an extra TWO miles in my book! :rotfl:No, it should come with the Aux wire, it says it in the description
AUX cable included for MP3 player.
request an immediate replacement for the whole item Sylvergrunge, and hope the next one comes with the AUX cable.
Thanks for your replies. Have already tried that route but Avon said none in stock and didn't know if they would be getting any moreWill try a shout out on Facebook as you mentioned a. X

Hi, I've got about 4 or 5 things I need to send back with my delivery. I'm assuming it's okay to put them all in the same package? Just that then I'd have one parcel but loads of bits of paper for the driver to sign
and how would he know how many things are in the package???
Hope someone knows what I mean?0 -

Hi, I had 3 returns forms last time, just stapled them together and the driver signed all 3, as everything was all in the one parcel.... I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -
Quick question....
If I order money makers in C3, do they count towards my order value in C3, or C5 when they are billed?
I'm hoping to achieve HOV in C3 and C4, which will be my 5th & 6th orders, so that I can get the Smart Start gift of a vanity , so I need to make sure I reach the correct level!!
Thanks
ETA - OK, I've answered my own question - I added the items to my order, and they're not included in the totals now, so they must be on C5. I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -

Money makers count when they're invoiced i.e. will be C5. Well done you for giving thought to achieving the vanity case - worth having (as is the bag for £1,500 worth of sales in your first 6 campaigns).
Good luck.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
