Hi everyone, hope your all doing ok.

Thinking of signing up with Avon but have a quick question.....Is there any way of finding out where other reps/how many are in your local area. As would hate to be on anyones patch so to say, or join if loads in local area already

    Thanks

But 1 thing i do find a little off, that someone from a couple of streets away could post her book and order in for me, yet someone 2 doors down from me didn't, But made a point of telling me about it a few days ago.

develop a thick skin and ignore it. You have to learn to. this is your business and as ever there are alls sorts out there.

Hi Jane and welcome to the thread.

If you contact Avon, and request someone to contact you about signing up, before you have them come to interview you, when then contact you, ask them the question there and then.

That will save time you being interviewed if there are lots of reps in the area and you feel it will not work for you.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've been through my orders and am happy to say I can see some CO ops :D If I have got it correct I could "save" £26 and I have stuff to order for myself totalling £25, plus the start up fee (part 1), books for C7 and my paper bags etc (about £9.35 according to my order without customers stuff in) for this order. So if my calculations are correct I should in theory earn about £71. Can someone check these calculations for me please?

Original order total (without mine!) £353.64
    CO = -£26.48
    My items = £25.00 (they're just back/clearance orders )
    Joining fee = £7.50
    Paper bags (one each small/medium/large) = £2.09
    40 Brochures = £7.36

Coming to a total of about £71.17

If this is correct then I'm happy, as that can all go into a savings pot to pay for things at a later date ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • I just told her how i'll id been, I collect books up again today so she may have put an order in this time, I dont know.

Well done you to get the hang of CO so early. It can make all the difference between making Avon work for you or being disappointed. To be honest, there's not a lot of point checking your figures as some things may be out of stock and, somehow, your invoice never seems to be exactly what you'd calculated e.g. returns.... how often does the amount quantified initially by Avon actually turn out to be the same amount as you're credited with? In my experience, don't think it ever has.

Nice first order; congrats! PC here you come....:T

Right have altered the link on the first post for the recommended avon thread, and added the links that A has provided above :)
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A
  • I'd still like to collect any total order worth over £250 let alone anything else! I've only really just reached HOV this time round with 160odd, though still not bad as the first real campaign back after Christmas. Picked up 2 new customers re-canvassing my area, for campaign 5, I'm definitely doing a giveaway for an £x spent. see how that goes.
