Blimey I'd not even thought of that
I hope, if that did happen the person who did receive them was honest. I think it totted up to over £150 worth that was missing hence the reason I think customer services was suspicious.
Personally I think someone had sticky fingers, as it was C3 campaign when the foundations were £4, the Anew creams were on offer and it was just very strange that so many items were missing.
Oh well guess we'll never know.0 -

Although I am back ordering myself some of the Magix face profector at £4 rather then paying the full price for it in C4 lol. I'll keep trying though,
Some campaigns you can't do very well with creative ordering - I've only made an extra £4 myself this time with creative ordering as everyone already had a bargain! But, other campaigns I've made myself an extra £50, plus got some freebies, so always worth having a quick check through just in case.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

You're not alone; a lot of reps think like you. As ever, it's each to their own - bit like supermarket shopping, some people just get what they want, others search out the bargains.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Am sooo lucky to now have a lot of time on my hands and a brilliant OH, who supports me to the hilt. (Hasn't always been like that.... which actually just makes me appreciate my current situation all the more.)
Yes OH can be great can't they - my poor OH has the responsiblity of collecting in our brochures, helping with deliveries and taking expired brochures for me on his days off lol! Thankfully he doesn't mind - saves me having to moan at him for being no help and he likes a quiet life :rotfl:Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Yes, sometimes reps on my team don't have any CO opportunities at all. The more orders you get, generally, the more chance you'll have to benefit from CO.
Think I take mine too far though - I end up with loads of stock just because I can't resist a bargain. I'm a hoarder too so that makes it twice as bad. When I like a product and it's on special price, I just have to stock up 'in case' someone orders it at a higher price. (Have only just realised that I need to check my stock every campaign as 90 days very quickly comes round and then I could be stuck with it!)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Good, glad you get support too. Mine clicked on very quickly to the 'rule' that if I'm happy, he 'can' be too! Hardly rocket science, eh?
Can't remember where I read it now but I also like the saying "I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you"...Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

As far as I remember being told by some reps who visited the head office in Corby to see how everything works, a lot of the items aren't hand picked, they come down chutes into boxes going a long conveyor belt so I guess if it misses the box it ends up on the floor etc so doesn't even leave the factory!0 -
I'm definitely going to try this creative ordering, a lady I saw the other day was thrilled that she had a new Avon lady as hadn't had one since she had moved house and she used to bring a tray of goods round in addition to the order (which I didn't think you could do, thought you had to leave 24 hours between order and delivery?) I think I'll be looking for things for a free gift over £20 or something.
Another great thing yesterday, I mentioned a few weeks ok that a road on my territory is an industrial estate, well my car was in the garage thereyesterday and is due back in next week, I took a book into the reception and asked the receptionist if she was interested, she was really pleased and said she had lost her rep before christmas and was definitely interested, she also pointed out to me the other places that had female receptionists who woruld be interested so I plan to go out there next week when I get my car back.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

well done MrsGSR!
and if you make up a box of £1 or more items, you can take these around with you on your rounds. That is what some Reps do.
Customers love getting Avon items for a bargain £1. Obviously you don't put expensive stuff in for a £1, things that you paid less than £1 for, ie shower gels, bubble baths, deodrants, etc.0 -

I may well do this. I have a few very keen customers so far. Am I right in saying you can't do this from HT but you can back order in the books?Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0
