  • Was going to sneak in as a long time lurker/newbie tomorrow but as I'm at a lose end tonight and enjoying following the thread I thought I'd bite the bullet now!!

My OS today is to simply not go anywhere.

Look forward to sharing 2011 with you, if you'll let me ;)

Evening all! Well a busy day was had here, cooking, cleaning and emptying the ironing basket ready to welcome the new year! Am just waiting for Only An Excuse on BBC then off to bed as I am working tomorrow. Happy New Year when it comes, and don't drink too much wine!

Jools - sorry I think I just reported your post as spam, I didn't realise I was hovering over the spam button. Can't even blame the wine I'm having a cup of tea.:o:o:o

We lurch from one New year crisis to the next! Ds2 (16) just found his way home from a party in a dreadful state having got drunk for the first time! Just decluttered the contents all over the conservatory roof and sent DD into hysterics as phobic of sick and DS3 as it narrowly missed his open window on the way down. I go in to get him water in the kitchen and skid on the dog poo that Poppy has deposited as she is upset by the fireworks. Kids Dad to the rescue. Im now sat up with DS2 with him intermittently being sick and moaning. Oh well something always happens at New Year. Last year I had to go and collect DD early from her party. Still DS2 has told me that he loves me and Im the best mum in the world xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
