hi all
i don't usually post on here but just wanted to say hello and happy new year....
it is 11pm here as we keep forwarding the clock as the kids want to stay up until midnight and I want them to go to bed by 9.30...
so i have the midnight chimes and auld lang syne lined up on you tube to play at "midnight" which will be arriving soon..
better go and forward the clock to 11.15....
this might be a moneysaving habit as DH has not realized what i am doing and if he stops drinking at my "Midnight" then that might save quite a bit of money on beer
neither of us wear a watch so he might not twig;);)

There's more than enough red wine here for everyone!
My Mum always hated New Year's Eve - and I prefer the shiny new tomorrow as well really - but the wine will smooth my path towards it. Just need some company on the way. (DH is snoring gently in his chair!!!)Resolution:

my time-travelling plan is working as none of us wear watches and we only have one clock in the house - in the kitchen - so i am on the laptop in the kitchen and moveing the clock forward every 15 minutes or so...
as long as no one phones DH on his mobile he will not twig and i will get a nice early night with DH with kids in bed and without him having too much too drink;) Happy New Year:D
(off to switch Dh's mobile off:p)

Well, seeing as you have drunk that bottle I have had to open another. Rather nice!!
Gutted the kitchen today and washed all the vases/jugs on top of the units and just put it all back together. DS2 came home from the farm for something to eat and some more clothes and didn't remark so it must look exactly the same!! (Mind you, what 22 year old would notice?)
Cheers All. XX0
