Not you apparently if you think that is the way to behave - the original post on your spelling was fair comment. Nobody is expected to be perfect but if you can't be bothered to get the spelling correct of a word you see in front of your face in large letters each and every day, then don't expect your post to be taken seriously (especially as you also couldn't be bothered to read previous comments on the thread before you posted.)

I don't think anyone will have any more sympathy with your case if you carry on like this.

Do I need your abuse??? I have a fair point I bought the paper and I should get a free cd they advertied a free DVD to all of their readers now I cant spell very well and its unfair for you to pick on me! I have a fair point that if Play.com is going to say it will give every reader of the newspaper a dvd and it has only 100 per or so per correct password then that is not fair or right. Now I dont have to explain my self to your or anyone else, yes I do have a problem with my spelling and that is none of your bussiness and no need to be rude to me.

There was nothing wrong with this thread at all until you told someone who mildly criticised you to "get a life." Therefore I think you'll find it's you who has problem posting abuse, not anyone else.

Poster after poster here has given sensible advice along the lines of "it's only a DVD" but you've chosen to ignore all of that and take a heavy handed approach. As I said before, it's pointless to go to the ASA and complain, and if you are a regular reader, then contact the Indie (politely!) directly first, though as has also been said the "while stocks last" bit covers them and Play.

Otherwise just drop it - certainly take your own advice on rudeness.

Got my free DVD this morning (Hotel Rwanda) but strangely I also got a Pirates of The Caribbean coin too. Anyone remember that glitch ages ago? I haven't used Play.com for a long time, I've been using CDWOW for the piggy points but I think that the coin must have been sitting on my account for ages until I finally ordered something else from them. I've double checked and they sent it free!
