Well done Herewego on 51 listings thats really good! Ebay kept throwing me out too then asking me to sign back in and throwing up the sign in screen constantly, was a pain so just ended up using HM laptop and that worked - was worried that maybe ebay had crashed yesterday with everyone uploading hehe!
Problem now is I keep refreshing my screen every 5 mins - I have had quite a few questiongs, and bids and watchers but really need to get out tomorrow to stop me from hitting refresh lolLife is what you make it.0 -

Just a quick wee update this afternoon while I have 5 minutes to myself.
Firstly I have managed to start getting sleep pattern back on track - went to bed at 1.30am (huge difference from 5am!!) and was able to get up at the same time as my HM going to work at 7am! It was a struggle because I had such a sore head - my HM ended up going to work and leaving me in bed there was no way I could even consider running with my head the way it was! I did end up falling back asleep for a few hours.
That was all interupted by family calling - but I don't mind. We have to take our family cat to the vet tonight - she lives with my mum and dad. Shes been unwell for a while now and my mum had spotted a lump on her a couple of weeks ago, the vet gave her antibiotics to take for 2 weeks to see if that had worked but this morning shes been very ill vomiting etc. so mum has asked if I could go with to the vet tonight. It could just be that shes picked up the flu that we all have but can't take the risk with this lump either! I just pray its nothing serious - couldnt handle that!
The house is freezing today so haven't really made the effort to move around much but getting ready now and trying to get myself the motivation I need! Got plenty to be getting on with today with the business etc.
Realised lastnight that my laptop is actually broke and wasn't just ebay being slow as I thought on Saturday, the whole thing takes forever even just to load the system and when it does finally load its freezes - need to get this fixed as all my clients albums etc is on there!!
Going to start the gym tomorrow evening as I have to go to town tomorrow afternoon for a load of messages to do and don't want to be running around in this weather with wet hair so will leave the gym until last!
Checked ebay this morning - up to £21.59 so far still with 5 days to go - thats bids on 7 items, another 22 on top of that have watchers so I'm crossing my fingers I will get between £100 - £150 like I was hoping!Life is what you make it.0 -
You're doing really well with the ebay, I'm running out of things to sell now
but I don't think I could manage that many in one day!
I hope your cat is ok, you're doing the right thing getting her checked out.
I second what millionaireintraining said don't let her put you off. I used to know a lot of girls like that and they really don't matter :TTotal debt at LBM £26k+Total debt now £16,494.40Tesco CC 11/2/11 Total - £1,387.20 - Now £00 -

Hey weeclick
I had the same problem yesterday - I looked it up on ebay itself and it said to delete the cookies on your computer - I did and was able to log in no bother after that.

Hey Palema - thanks - learnt today though that its my laptop playing up
Quick rundown of today really -
Well As I mentioned my laptop had been playing up at the weekend and I decided at 10.30pm lastnight to try and fix it - thought maybe it needed an update or defrag - problem was the screen wouldn't load - it was just black! Decided to give up at 1.30am and got working on it again this morning. I'm usually quite good at fixing computers but I've struggled all day. Finally after several reboots, system restores, system repairs it would let me log in and then freeze! I thought it was maybe a problem with a programme I have start up automatically and spent 3 hours trying to will the laptop into letting me delete it - but then microsoft itself freezes the whole computer - but I did manage to at least stop it from automatically starting at start up. Then I was getting error messages about google desktop so thought that was problem but again my laptop freezes before I can do anything about it Convinced now that the laptop is on its last legs! I only got it 2 years ago as a christmas present but the screen broke last year, followed by the hinge breaking from me fixing and installing a new screen, wires are now loose and now this problem! By this evening all I wanted to do was chuck the thing out the window!
The major problem I have is that there are important documents on the computer, and clients wedding album designs which have already been approved but not sent off yet which I cannot afford to lose - doing so sets me back by 3 weeks for design and usually 3 months for clients to approve it!! Plus it wouldnt look very good on my part! I have thankfully been able to trick the laptop into transferring the folder I need onto external hard drive and my HM has let me use her laptop to finish off any work needing done. It does still set me back a bit because the albums had already been uploaded to our supplier software and the software is assigned per computer so will need to re upload! This has to be done for at least one album in the morning so it can be in action for printing - as the printers usually take 4 weeks to complete! I then have another album needing design changes and sent back to the couple before starting on another album design from scratch! (not so much a huge rush on this though as its family friends who arent in a position to pay for the album to be made at the minute anyway!)
As I also mentioned earlier my mum asked if I would go with to the vet with our lovely cat - My mum had spotted a lump a few weeks ago, just before christmas and wanted to get it checked - the vet wasnt sure what it was and had put her on tablets in the hope it would shrink the lump and asked us to call back if it didn't. Unfortunately the lump is still very much there and then the cat was very sick this morning so we needed to get her looked at. We met another vet tonight who basically told us that its a tumour and needs removed. Now aside from that the vomiting and temperature is completely seperate and is an infection and has to be treated by antibiotics before they can operate on the lump. Its quite scary for me as she was my first real pet and shes only 6! Fingers crossed she will be ok though - shes in good spirits and still plays etc, you wouldnt know anything was wrong only when you stroke her and feel this large lump on her side.
Then my mobile phone bill arrived this morning with £50 extra in charges than the usual rate!! Near fainted and didn't believe I had over spent as I NEVER use the phone so went online and checked my bill but they are all numbers I know so I must have gone phone happy over christmas - I was over by 140 minutes!!! That money will have to come out of the holiday fund now leaving us virtually empty!
On the plus side Im going into town tomorrow with the family and Im going to see if I can get a credit union loan (my granny usually takes care of that for me) I would love to be able to borrow £1,000 - £500 is needed to keep clients albums in check and £500 to replace in the savings account, although this will really depend on the weekly repayments - otherwise £500 will be my limit as thats not really negotiable.
I started my diet officially today, weighed myself on Sunday evening and now have a target. To be my absolute ideal weight by holiday I need to lose 3lbs a week and Im hoping a will get a good head start in the next 2 weeks before I start my new job! I actually checked my diary and Ive lost 15lbs in 2 months and thats without dieting!! I didn't believe the scales at the start but when I put on an old pair of jeans they fell to my ankles!!! At least theres some good news from today!
I had breakfast for the first time in years! It was only a hand full of grapes but for me thats an achievement in itself! For lunch I had homemade veggie soup and a savoury muffin with ham. Dinner was a baked potatoe with beans (last minute slap together after taking cat to vets) I have stopped all fizzy drinks in the house officially today and have replaced with ribena as an alternative, is working well already as Im drinking closer to 8 glasses a day! My HM has also got on board and said she will try and lose 3lb a week until the holiday and we have a competition going between ourselves that whoever loses the least amount of weight has to pay for the others spa treatment on holiday (with treatments starting at 100 euro I better win!!)
My HM started her new job today and seems to enjoy it, its only a 6 week contract but we are hoping something perm. will come up in the same company while she is there. They are always advertising for jobs online so I'm hopeful that they will try and keep her on! Still no word on my contract for my new job - it should have been emailed to me Thursday/Friday of last week so will be chasing recruitment up on that tomorrow morning as well!
Checked ebay a few times today - had 4 different items ask if theres a buy now price - which I dont have and given the amount of watchers I have on the items I don't want to finish auctions early anyway! Currently up to £23.09 on bids so pleased with the way its going so far. Also have quite a few watchers on the more expensive items but I know people will wait and bid at the last minute! Cant wait need every penny we can at the moment!
Remember I mentioned the awful time I had at the bank last week? Well my HM had money go into our joint account today and you can see at the ATM its in there, and the ATM claims its "available" but no machine will let us withdraw money so need to sort that out tomorrow now too - sooner I get rid of santander the better!!
Apart from that I'm really excited about the week ahead, I have to keep thinking positive and reminding myself that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and to just keep going!
Now I want to stick to one rule I set which is earlier bed times so going to switch off now before 1am!Life is what you make it.0 -
GAH!! What a day so far!
Woke up at 7am to see HM off to work and to get my coat out of the car so I don't freeze in town today. She calls up at 7.30am to tell me she has TWO flat tyres! I had to phone mum to pick us up, drop her off to work at 8am. We get back and I have to start making phone calls for someone to come fix the car (could already see the £££ leaving my account!) couldnt find anyone who does mobile repairs - the only one that did was charging £65 just to call out then work on top of that!! Finally found someone after 100 mechanics direct me to different people, they will call out - £30 fee then £5 per tyre changed! Sounds good. Booked in.
Mum phones, cats unwell again been sick twice this morning has stopped eating and drinking, has to go back to vet. So I rush to get ready again and go with - the cat refused to be lifted by my mum so I had to go round lift her and put her in the box ready for the vets. We get there shes checked over, still got a temperature but looked alot better than the vet was expecting - sent her home with 2 more different medication (on top of the antibiotics she was given yesterday!) How do you convince a cat to take 3 different tablets at once when she wont even eat her treats! Anyway he is still very concerned about the lump and wants it removed sooner rather than later but cant do anything until her temp. is down.
I get back, phone call from mechanic, we are here and all about to start work on the car! (YEY) The mechanic was fantastic, lovely guy to chat to and no BS which was good. Only 1 tyre had a puncture - the other one has a rim problem from when we had the new tyre fitted in November - we knew the rim was bent and had took the car back to the guys who fitted the tyre who said they had fixed the rim - clearly not! So he put the spare tyre on for now but I need to take the car back to the other guys tomorrow to get them to fix their sorry excuse of a job from the last repair! So there's £35 down already!
As I pay the mechanic and he's packing up his tools - the postman is here, I take a letter from him - open it - SANTANDER - the c**ts are now saying theres a possible fraudulent activity on the account and so the account has been blocked! (This all stemming from the rude guy on the phone the other day who wrote on my account - suspicious!) I phoned them, they ask security questions on the card, I tell them I dont have a card was never sent the pin number to use it and so never put the card in my purse ie. now lost in the junk amongst this house. They ask me questions on DD in the account - easy! Apparently I failed security !!!!!!?!?!?! I phone HM and ask if shes made any transactions that Im not aware of that would have made my security questions wrong - no - told her the answers I gave - she said I was right!
So now have to go to the branch with 2 forms of ID to prove its me and get sorted that way! Ok I think, start finding my purse cos I use my licence as second form of ID, uhoh no purse! Tip the house upside down, check in the car, still no purse! So they will have to make do with a couple of letters I have to hand.
Just one of those days where you wish you could turn back the clock and have another 8 hours sleep!Life is what you make it.0 -
