Hey Amber - thanks for subscribing
I know what you mean about not losing anything - story of my life lol!!
Really struggled getting to sleep again lastnight and finally got over at 5am! Thankfully I'm not the only one everyone is complaining of it - insomnia bug has hit everyone I know!
Woke up this morning (actually afternoon) and really wanted to get my head sorted and get organised - feels like Im trying to do too much at once and get mixed up with everything! So priorites are now in place - business (and business closure) stuff first thing in the morning - Any quick jobs to do it town - Declutter house - Gym in the evening and in bed no later than midnight!
Not sure how long this new plan will last lol but we shall see!! It's worked well this morning, because I have an idea of what needs to be done when I found it easier to get on with business stuff but was stopped in my tracks fairly quickly when an order couldnt be processed so now need to wait for clients response!
Feeling alot better personally - fever has gone, appetite is back and not coughing half as much! Got some really good news though. I have had asthma since I was 16, at the start I was chronic needing hospital treat every month without fail - now 5 years on for the first time ever my breathing (peak flow) is considered normal :T Im hoping this means I will be able to push myself a bit further in the gym now!
Tonights plan is to get a load of items up on ebay and in the process a bit more decluttering - but at a slow pace, dont want to make myself ill again!
Mum has let me borrow her scales and brought them round so will weigh myself at the weekend ready to start the gym on Monday - will make Sunday the official day to weigh myself every week and hopefully see some improvement - the weight isn't what Im focusing on though its more the dress size so I won't be down hearted if I don't lose what I want every week! Last time I joined the gym regularly and was on a healthy eating plan I was losing around 6 a week!! So if I can get between 4-6 weekly now I will be happy
Having MORE trouble with the heating today - topped up £10 on Tuesday late evening and this morning it ran out! Yesterday we had no heating on cos of my temp, we didnt cook cos we got takeaway and my HM is the only one to shower this morning before it switched off half way through! Phoned the gas company they reckon nothing is wrong - I just find it funny that we spend £10 weekly for the last 2 and a half years now suddenly within 4 days we've spent £16.50 - not possible at all!! Not sure how to resolve this as they say theres no error and therefore not their problem - but I refuse to spend an extra £24 a month!Life is what you make it.0 -
Not much new to report today. Was unable to sleep again lastnight and was near 5am the last time I checked my phone! On the plus side I did manage to get up 2 hours earlier so hoping that will have some sort of effect.
I had to get my neice an application form for nursery school today - can't believe how time has flown! To think this time next year she will be there with her own wee friends when it barely feels like yesterday I was holding her in the hospital! I've already warned her not to be kissing any boys so the aunties advice is being put to good use already
Did an online grocery shop today - ended up spending £34 instead of the £30 that had been budgeted. Im still pleased with £34 though as that includes delivery and was a good A4 page worth of stuff - most of it healthy and fresh which is why Im guessing I went over budget - but compared to our min. of £70 weekly shop only 2 weeks ago Im so so pleased to cut it down by half and not even need to buy anything last week!
Apart from that I went out for a meal tonight - I did feel a bit guilty at the start but I had to remember that it was christmas money and family wouldnt want it spent on bills - ended up only costing £20 each and it was in a very lush restuarant so pleased to have paid so little!
Its free listing on ebay this weekend so putting all my time and energy into that - I already have about 3 or 4 ikea bag to sort through and have all the photos done ready just to starting listing ASAP

Great news on the asthma front :T. THat must be a relief for you. Great news on the HM job too. All good things happening now that you are on the mend. ONwards and upwards is the mantra. I will join you in the Sunday night weigh in. Not telling you what I weigh but we can report in with any losses or gains:D. If you want that is. I dont care if I even drop by a 1lb a week so long as no more goes on. Not going to stress about it as all my energies need to go into busting this debt at the minute. I couldn't afford the new clothes anyway lol. Have a good weekend. See you on e-bay

hey MIT weigh in sounds great!! I'm dreading it but needs to be done lol!
Had a family crisis lastnight which meant another late night but it needed to be - puts your mind in perspective when you realise other things are going on, terrible things!
Woke up today late AGAIN! (that will all change on Monday though when HM starts work!) but got stuck into ebay striaght away - only done about 6 or 7 listings so far though they take soooo much time! grrrr! But I have 3 bedrooms worth of rubbish and boxes to sort through so I'm sure this will be a long weekend and can only pray that some money comes out at the end of all this work!
Waiting on my first home delivery from asdas tonight (between 7 and 9) and very excited to have lots of fresh fruit and veg in the house and proper breakfast again
Anyway back to ebay heheLife is what you make it.0 -

thanks Amber - yes please lets update pounds lost each week so we can hopefully encourage eachother - Im disguisted to say I need to lose around 70lbs (5 stone!!) which has forced itself on my body since getting ill when I was a teenager (only 21 now though so no excuse!)
MIT I have ended today with 100 listings!!!
Lastnight I stayed up until 4am ebaying then another hour spent on watching a film! Only unfortunate thing was asda ring 15 mins before the last of my 2 hour delivery slot to tell me their delivery man was sick!! Was gutted because I had planned my delivery around what food we had in and there was nothing there to make a meal from and we didnt have any bread, milk or juice either! I got a bit annoyed because it was 9pm so a bit late to change meal plan and run to tescos so decided to just get a fish supper. I shouldnt have but when youve worked as much as I had on ebay straining myself all day the thought of shopping was too much!
Anyway was told I would be top priority for delivery in the morning between 8-9am as I told her we had no food in the house and had been waiting in all evening. They ended up arriving at midday! Just to make things a bit worse the soup mix had burst in the plastic box so had to be refunded, and a kids potty ended up along side the apples?!?!?!
Spent the whole day today again on ebay until about 2 hours ago when I reached my limit of 100 items before it wanted me to register as a business - not keen on that, been classed self employed before and still trying to get myself out of that mess!
In the end I managed to clear the hallway, office and both bedrooms!! I still have 2 plastic boxes worth of stuff to sell but will have to wait now! Got alot of my photography gear on ebay and some bulky items - wardrobe shell, printers etc which have to either be collected or delivered so I got all the awkward things out of the way because of it being free listings weekend so if it doesnt sell then I havent lost anything!
So far I have 20 items with watchers and 6 with bids - they all have 6 days left to go so who knows what the results will be! I put up items in total to the value of £641.50 if they were all to sell at the starting price now I dont expect for one minute for everything to sell but even if I get £100 out of it I would be happy - £150 would be fantastic and £200 would be a complete miracle!
Hope you did well too mit?Life is what you make it.0 -
Hmm ok then do I lie or tell the truth?? Well I never lie so the truth it is. I have lsted nil, nada, nothing
. I got involved with housewifey crap and forgot all about it. I will start working around the house during week and get some things sorted out. I am sure there is loads.
I weighed in this morning. I have more to lose than you. SO we will report here on a Sunday then since amber03 is joining in if that's okay. Not going at it hammer and tongs but will have a bash at it from tomorrow. I should be more organised with lunches etc this week as I shopped well5 Year plan. haha aw well always plenty of time for ebay! I swear someone has turned me into a housewife this year even though there is no husband lol. Cant believe the amount I got done, thats pretty much all rooms upstairs 80% done of decluttering AND cleaned! Then managed to come downstairs and cook my first chicken and brocili bake - if you know me you would understand what a big thing that is because I HATE veg with a passion! Onwards and upwards!
I will let you all know (and incase I forget lol) My actual weight as of tonight is 22.58lbs and now have a target of 85.8lbs to lose by July so thats roughly 3lbs a week!
I'm joining up to the gym tomorrow morning when HM drops me off on way to work - around 7.45am ouch! I have a real fear of the gym, its stupid I know, but one of the girls who worked there used to look down her nose at me at school and dont want my weight to give her another reason to be up herself! Ah well have to get on with it!
With the gym membership you also get a free swim session so going to going swimming striaght after the gym - helps relax my muscles anyway! Heres another fear I have to face tomorrow - wearing a swimming custome infront of guys!! Have to keep reminding myself that theres a lovely 5 star holiday waiting for me at the end of it and a nice black bikini that I have to fit in to show off in all my photos!! :P
Good luck to you and Amber and look forward to hearing about your first week back here next Sunday
