Vodafone complaints

Hi,
I am trying to find out if any of the vodafone stores in birmingham have a phone in stock or not. But I have been told by customer services on 08700 700191 that the stores themselves dont have a phone and each person carries a mobile and I really need to have their individual mobile number to find anything out! So the whole idea was to save a trip if the phone is not stock. Now I have to go their to get a salesperson's mobile number? What can I say? What is there to say?
BTW - If someone has a vodafone employee mobile number, can u give that to me? I can ask him to check if my local vodafone brach has the phone or not.0 -
Hi there
weemster - Having trouble getting a signal on your phone can cause you problems.
I appreciate that you've already chosen to leave us but if there is anything we can do to help you can get in touch with us by sending an email from here with WRT135 in the subject line (this ensures the email comes straight to our team). Make sure when you send the email that you include a link to your post and your username in the body of the text.
I look forward to hearing from you.
billyboy2468 - I'm sorry to see you didn't receive the callback you were promised.
I understand that you are now looking at offers elsewhere but if you would like us to get in touch the above offer is of course open to you also.
All the best

I am really frustrated with Vodafone.
On 22 June 2010, I sent them an email via the Customer Services Contact Us link on their website to inform them that I had moved and no longer required mobile broadband. In the same email, I gave them my new address. The next day I received an email from Vodafone Customer Services now been cancelled. Whilst they cancelled my contract, it transpired that they did not update my address and they did not tell me this.
Late last week I was forwarded from my old address a letter from Vodafone dated 11 August 2010 saying it was the final notice for a £10.16 bill and that they would send it to a debt collection agency if I did not pay in 14 days. I called Vodafone immediately on the number they provided and I was told that Vodafone would not deal with me anymore as it was with debt collectors. I explained the situation saying that I had told Vodafone my new address. The customer services rep, quite unhelpfully, said that I could have been anyone (referring to my June email) and that I should have called to tell them my new address. I pointed out that it made no sense that an email was sufficient to cancel a contract but insufficient to change an address. I had inserted all the security info they needed to identify me when I sent the email - how is it any different from calling up? It is their error and I am left with a mark on my credit report!
Knowing I was not getting anywhere with Vodafone, I called the debt collectors (who I had not heard from) and settled the debt.
I have tried to complain via that same "customer services" email link FIVE TIMES but it will not work! So I cannot even make a complaint. This just highlights how poor their customer service is.
I was really upset after speaking to the rep from Vodafone. They were really quite abrupt, unhelpful and rude.
This all feels very unfair and unreasonable. I am seriously concerned that this will affect my credit rating. And all over £10!!

Vodafone stores do not have a telephone connection because it is their job to serve and answer customers enquiries instore.
If you were in a store being served and the assistant left you to answer a telephone enquiry, you would not be too pleased with the service.
Customer Services will be able to help with your enquiry, or you will have to go into the store and get personal attention.0 -

Having read this thread there seems to be a pattern.
Vodafone seem to be falling apart at the seams- there is a lack of co-ordiation and clarity, no resolution of issues on the first call and no feedback / call backs happening
There seems to be a constant churn of disgruntled Vodafone customers who keep getting cut off / transferred etc.
Almost all the posts on here seem to indicate apathy amongst most Vodafarce staff.
Another point- Vodafone have the need to delete non-complimentary posts on their own forums seems to prove the self destruction of Vodafonebaldly going on...0 -
i couldnt be happier, i left today and moved to orange, i urge everyone to leave as soon as they can, the only way these big companies will listen if people start moving, they only care about money and less money and perhaps the MD might start taking notice of the little people..Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0

I have sent a letter of complaint to Vodafone re the above. I just want them to clear any negative impact this will have on my credit rating.

Having problems making calls - a lot of the time, but not all the time, it says network busy when dialling out - but we know the number isnt busy - have tried it to our landline when noones on the phone. It makes an engaged sound and says network busy - the phone is samsung b2100 (solid extreme) and the network is vodafone
is it likely to be the phone that is faulty, a setting on it or network problems?

Sounds like the Vodafone mast/transmitter in your local area is busy. It could be over-subscribed or faulty.0
