Hi there
Marg - Never fear! I'm here to help! These two issues are most likely linked.
I've received your email and I'll be giving you a call-back a little later to resolve this for you.
Smithmeister - I can appreciate your anger. I've already replied in your other thread about this with some instructions.
Speak to you both soon

Hi guys and gals,
I appreciate somebody's help in here. I have taken Vodafone for damages to high court for misselling and misleading me and a breach of a written contract as well as taking excess money from me without authorisations (I have all evidences and confirmed by OTELO too).
I am doing this to protect all of ours consumer rights and not allowing giant cooperate thieves to build up huge profits in the expenses of vulnerable consumers.
I will appreciate if someone can tell me where I can get a breakdown of all the complaints that made about vodafone by the consumers?
i.e I want to prove that they are doing this day light rubbery systemetically.
Many Thanks
P.S I don't want any advice from any vodafone representative as I have enough bad experience from their colleagues.
EVERY ONE BE WARNED: ALWAYS and ALWAYS and ALWAYS ask for written confirmations and do not believe anyone in Vodafone as they don't care and they just are liers.0 -
Kirsty after the hard work you did for me sorting out my contract it seems somehow the vodaphone system isn't working, ive had my january bill - yep its wrong, its saying £27.07 again.
I will contact you again via the web page but it really is getting me down now, with all these different amounts going back and forth its hard to keep up where i am!!!Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
Hi all,
glad it's not just me that isn't impressed with Vodafones 'service'. My 18 month contract has ended, can't upgrade to the phone I want so customer 'service' tried to put me through to disconnections. Spend nearly 20 mins on hold and then cut off! Further attemps also futile. Send a message to give my 30 days notice but no confirmation that they even received my email. Service is that bad my whole family is cancelling their contracts as soon as possible. If all aggrieved customers left they may realise how poor they are.
On a lighter note, after lurking here for years this is my first post!0 -
Ignore disconnections; all they do is try to sell you another contract (usually lying about what you are actually going to end up with). You need to WRITE to the Banbury address to cancel the contract.0

I am raging with vodafone  I have 3 phones on contract and have been merrily paying my bills without checking on line (stupid me) thinking that everything was as it should be. Thought this months bill was high and on checking the bill I have discovered on one of the phones there is a cover me insurance policy costing £6.95 coming off each month , I would never take out an insurance policy like that as I have a really good home policy which covers, theft, loss and damage to phones I believe they are taking this off without authorisation and have written off an email to them. Can anyone help where i go from here as regards making an official complaint etc
many thanks in advanceBORN TO RIDE - FORCED TO DRIVE

I have serious issues with Vodafone - never ever will I go with them again.
Any advice please?
Renewed Vodafone contract in March 2 months prior to expiry of original.
All going well - then phone cut off in May (same date as original contract would have expired). Bill for just under £600 arrived the DAY they tried to take money out of account (£30 charge). I was told by Vodafone that this was a mistake their end due to new computer software BUT that the easiest resolution was to let them take £600 and then reclaim from my bank under the direct debit guarantee. Vodafone tried to again take the £600 the next day (another £30 charge). I went to the bank the same day who were not happy with Vodafone's advice and advised me to cancel direct debit to avoid further charges.
Endless telephone calls and letters ensued - never the courtesy of a written response. Suddenly in September (yes September) phone was reconnected with a partial credit. One week later phone again disconnected. This time I went to the Vodafone shop - someone had mistakenly reversed the credits so again I had a bill for nearly £600. Partial credits reinstated but I was still not happy with a bill of nearly £300. (contract was £30 per month so I could not reconcile the figures and neither could customer services).
I paid £160 but Vodafone still refused to reconcile figures - plus I was getting charged for all the things I did not want and did not have at beginning (ie insurance, sky tv etc etc).
Because I refused to pay any more until I had some reconcilation they have now cut off phone again (end November) and now I have a bill for £350 and a threat of Court action.
This phone has been disconnected more than connected - no one at Vodafone will assist or take responsibility or answer letters and I am now getting letters threatening action.
I am getting so stressed - why should I be bullied into paying this?
I am going to start off an ombudsman's complaint0 -

I remember that this was put on our contract as 30 days free and then you were charged - unless you cancelled in writing prior to the 30 days. Check the small print in your contract - I think they do it automatically - just another way for them to make money as I expect most people would forget.0
