Vodafone complaints

Lee is sorting out my latest problems, as always. All other ways are a waste of time. Again, I've had the Chat adviser cut me off when I asked to complain and wasted two phone calls. On past experience nothing's changed and it's unlikely to, so after my initial attempts I followed the only effective path - again. Well-worn by me over the years, but at least the Web Relations Team do sort things out.0

is there a vodafone rep that can help me? I'm at my wits end..I'm in such a mess and I don't know what to do. I was a loyal vodafone customer for 7 years, suddenly in august this year , I was unable to use the network at all for calls and texts, both making and receiving.
2 months later, my health was deteriorating, I was waiting for a surgery date and I had to change networks as vodafone had said it was a fault their end that they were permanently unable to fix. They promised as it was their fault, I would not have to pay an early get out clause.. they lied!! I got letters, I must've run g advisers and the complaints dept aver 10 times and every call they said it was their mistake, I owed nothing, they would amend it, but they didn't . I ended up in hospital for emergency surgery mid november, when I got out they had passed it to the debt collectors and the money was increasing weekly. I made contact with them, who were intimidating and the letters kept coming. Last time I sp[oke to vodafone was today, they still maintain my balanxe is 0 becaause I never did owe them anything, but that it was no longer anything to do with them as they had sold it to the debt collectors.. what do I do? I'm fighting a serious post op complication infaction, I'm supposed to be resting, but this is really stressing me out. I shouldn't have to pay it, but I imagine my credit rating has now plumetted, and the debt goes up weekly.. vodafone are criminals! Trying to write complaints is so hard with a high fever, I'm trying to fight this without going back into hospital for a 3rd time, I'm so addled , I need some advice.. I know I messed up, I should've kept records, names etc and should probably have written to them instead of call them, but I was, seriously ill.The stress caused by vodafone and the debt collectors is not helping my immune system fight off this serious post operative infection..Aside from my physical condition, I also have mental health issues and I need some help please. Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0 -

I gave 4 week notice at the end of my 24 month contract but got immediately disconnected. My online account also became inaccessible, and when I call customer services and get their automated answering machine I cant get through because the machine does not recognise my account number.
I managed to get through to them through their sales departmenet number. However 1 week and 7 agonisng calls to customer services later, I have had no resolution and my line is still disconnected. Every time I call, they confirm that the line will be reconnected. Some say immediately, some say 48 hours and one said 20 minutes.
I have requested that I speak to a manager on all my calls and I was told this was not possible but would get a call back within 48 hours. The call back never materialised.
I have just put my complaint in writing. Im not sure when to contact the Ombudsman because they keep confirming that the line will be reconnected very soon. [FONT="]This experience has seriously negatively impacted on both my health my finances as Im pregnant and self employed.
I reiterate the message sent out by other unhappy cusotmers,STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Typical Vodafone, but everything you've done so far is always going to be a complete waste of time (haven't you realised that yet??).

Hopefully Lee or someone from Vodafone can help.
I renewed my Vodafone contract in April 2015 and was told me VEA discount (20%) would continue. It was then removed but I received repeated reassurances it would be fixed until June 2015 when I was told to reapply my VEA details using a form, which I did, but the response I got was "The mobile number that we were asked to apply discount is not eligible for the scheme as an upgrade or new price plan has not been taken within 30 days."
So since April 2015 I have not received the discount - I would not have renewed if this discount wasn't part of the tariff. I have spoken to countless people at Vodafone who said they could see the issue and would resolve it. One example from an online chat: "Yes, you're right as you have been promised that you will get VEA 20% discount on your account" and that they would "provided with the credit as per monthly line rental". I've also frequently been told someone will call me back, they never do.
I wrote a formal letter of complaint to Vodafone on 19 October 2015. I received no response to my letter. I guess the next step, unless someone can help, is the Ombudsman Services Communications.
And then to add insult to injury, I tried to move my Vodafone direct debit to another bank account. Big mistake, the direct debit is still not set up on any account so I get a text each month saying payment has failed. I've again spoken to Vodafone several time to try to rectify it, even using different bank accounts. There is still no progress and no direct debit. No wonder people don’t move bank accounts if organisations of the size of Vodafone in 2015 can't move direct debits from one account to another. I'm paranoid it will affect my credit rating.
I dread to think how much time I've spent now trying to resolve these issues….. Please help!0
