Vodafone complaints

It is utterly disgusting Leon. There seems to be no outlet for complaints and no way of being able to cancel a contract on the basis of lack of good customer service. So what incentive does this firm really have to put things right?
I feel quite smug I was able to just walk away from this shower of a firm after the treatment I got. Thanks Vodafone for the lovely smart phone. Keep writing to my late husband and ruin his credit rating all you want. So glad my line was in his name.
The final bill for £500+ you keep sending him each month has about as much chance of being paid as --- um Accrington Stanley winning the world cup. I shall be using you letters now the weather is colder to start the wood burner off.
One question though. Why could you not even respond to complaints letters sent to you that were signed for yet you seem very able to write letters when payment stops rolling in.0 -
Hi Lee, [#11965163]

Hello,
Was wondering if you can help me.
Im with Vodafone for long time but the customer service its terrible.
Currently my account is overdue for £600. Even though i was keep paying every month £56 more than my monthly plan of £37 .
All start when i get a second number for my brother, because Vodafone couldnt accept his Id .
Anyway unfortunately by brother wasnt paying his bills which made by account overdue.
Took his phone back and try to sort out a solution with Vodafone as they suspend my lines too.
For over 3 weeks now ,i try to talk with someone to sort this out. only today i spoke to 6 different persons transferring me like a ball of tennis.
Even send a Compliant to CEO, of course not respond.
Rude customer service dont accept repayment plan or anything they demmand the full amount to be paid.
Which i cannot afford. Try to explain them, cancel the contracts something but keep finding a wall.
thats the customer service Vodafone provides, they just want your money , they dont care about you.
Im tired of keep chasing them. I want to paid them back but in an affordable way with a repayment plan.
But seems like im chasing an unicorn.
Any ideas or suggestions ?
Thank you.0 -
You had a second line in your name and broke the terms of the contract by not paying when due. That's a debt you are responsbile for and Vodafone can reasonably expect you to pay it when it is due - with any penalties accumulating for not doing so. Your external credit files will also be wrecked for the next six years. You didn't take his line back - it was never away from you and if you have multiple contracts they will take action against all to recover what you owe. Blame your brother for that oe yourself for taking his contract out in your name, not Vodafone.
The only hope you have that they may help (and they don't have to) is to follow the regular advice on this thread and contact the WRT as instructed.0 -

(Please can you explain why I was charged for 2 texts on Saturday 21/11/15 when I had a PAYG Text Extra Pack in place.)

How can i contact the WRT?
The link doesnt work.
Its my fault yes but i want to paid them back in reasonable monthly payments.
Try to contact billing team couldnt arrange anything. They wont accept monthly repayment plan. Which i dont understand any other company utilities or not, in any difficulties of paying them back you can arrange monthly instalments. So honestly i cant paid 600£ in one go just like that i cant afford it.0 -
Emailing jeroen.hoencamp@vodafone.com works, I just got text/call from a customer relations about me making complaint to the CEO - took about a week to get a reply
Will call back tomorrow to see their resolution on my issue.
Now live chat can't help as my account has been passed on to senior CS (which I assume is good thing to prevent my account being messed up by the terrible reps on live chat/phone)0 -

Who can I contact to resolve this? The Vodafone help line is just useless
My issues are:
Repeatedly miss billed for data overseas and in UK
Charges for phone returned.
Not able to cancel phone after ordered.
Phone was ordered online because agent told me it was impossible to have a BB Classic on private contract. When I told him the website was allowing me to order, he said this is not possible. It would not arrive. It did. I canceled and sent it back without opening. Beacuse I was told it would not arrive, I ordered an upgrade of two iPhones instead. This was an early upgrade allowed becuase of a previous data miss charge.
My latest bill since upgrade this last month included:
Charge of £35 for phone I do not have and no credit
Charge of £6+3 for extra 1.5GB data I had cancelled as the new contract included unlimited for 3 months
Charge of £142 for 56mb of data used in Morocco.
Whilst in Morocco I was sent text messages (attached) saying that I got 25mb for £5. On the 4 days I used data I was charged at £3-6 per megabit instead. Voda website says Morocco is in “Rest of World Data Traveller” and Vodafone agents tell me its not. There is a flat refusal to credit my account but this is not my error. If you follow the links on the site Morocco clearly comes in Rest Of The World Zone 1.
I have spent over 4 hours waiting on phones, being “hung up” on. discussing, being told I would be fully credited, then not receiving that credit, and now just stress. The charges are incorrect. I am a long time customer who has now had enough. I would like these issues sorted but now it seems if I do not pay I will be cut off. I will not pay this
Here are the texts received while away
"Welcome to MOROCCO. As you're in our Rest of World Zone and opted in to Vodafone Data Traveller, you get 25MB of data for £5 a day. After that, data is £3/MB up to 5MB then £15 for each additional 5MB. It costs £1.65/min to make a call and £1.30/min to receive one. Texts are 35p + your home rate and picture messages are 45p. For terms and info: (Links were here) or call +441635691700. For emergency services call 112. Enjoy your trip."
