New sim only contract customer here, troubles porting number. Needless to say I've requested cancellation within my 14 days right. Didn't think I could handle their useless call centre if more issues arised in the future.
Here different answers and being forwarded between departments where some of them just hang up. Totally useless.0 -

Not really had any bad issues with Voda over the years, a few minor ones that were easily sorted, discounts not applied properly last upgrade took 3 months to sort though.
I want an upgrade to a Galaxy S6 and have seen a black one on mobiles direct for £25. no cash back etc just a straight £25.
I phone the upgrade team and got cut off the first time, I phoned back and they couldnt offer me anything close to that so they said the retention team would call me Monday, they didn't. I called voda on Tuesday and got the same we cannot drop it below 20% which is £28 or £29.
I said the MD one is only £25 and on the voda network. MD had a gold one for slightly less but i forgot what link i followed to that.
The guy at the weekend said MD get the phones in bits and assemble them, thats why they are cheaper.
Where are the deals?? Since my last call where £28 was the lowest i find a thread where someone got the same deal for £24.50.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Lol thats a joke just like Vodafone themselves. If you're out of contract then go with mobiles.co.uk though vodafone may "struggle" to give your PAC code so you can transfer your number. Also not sure if they allow internal transfers for numbers, you may have to get your PAC move to a PAYG sim then back.0 -
Hi I have just found this thread. I'm wondering whether anyone has any problems with their Vodafone data?
Both myself and my partner are with Vodafone. I have been with them 11 years, luckily, with no issues, but my partner's bill has constantly got extra charges because they say he is going over his data limit.
He doesn't stream videos, only checks Facebook, news etc occasionally so nothing nowhere near going over his 5gb data allowance.
It's got to the point where he now turns mobile data off and only connects to wifi. Even doing this he goes very close to his limit.
When ever he phones Vodafone they are no help and say he must be using it, basically calling him a liar, so we are stuck on what to do. We know he isn't using it, have even changed phones in case it was faulty!0 -
5GB, are you sure thats not 500mb? Check the data usage which maybe built in or install 3g watchdog or similar.
Use the vodafone app which sort of works now and actually tells you how many minutes and how much data you have left and the billing date.
It was totally useless before now its acceptable.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Never had a problem with Vodafone, good signal, good speeds , however I've just left them as my contract ended on the 18th of November, I requested my PAC on the 20th of October, and it transferred on the 16th of November so was expecting to pay nothing or a few quid, however today I get a letter from vf for £111, rang up cs who say I owe £105, so different amounts, I am 100% certain it was the right date my contract ended (not just the date I could have updated), I have received a text from vf after speaking saying they are investigating to have my termination fee removed, but I'm going to cancel my dd just in case they try and take the money.
I see I'm not the only person had this problem on here as I've already read a thread from someone a week or so ago.
This needs sorting out vf, and has put a black mark on your name for me despite being a happy customer for the last 5 years.

After 30 years as a Vodafone customer I am horrified at the service I have received today - I have had dealings with at least 7 people in different departments - having to go through security every time and having to explain the issue each time - each representative having no prior knowledge. An awful couple of hours and live chat is worse!
I have asked for my pac codes as it was really hopeless which will incur hefty early cancellation fees for two phones but what choice is there??
Really disappointed.
To add insult to injury I just checked back on my last live chat feed and Nosheen had actually written 'enjoy' with a smiley face after telling me I would need to pay £1,480,49 - disgusting!0 -

Vodafone really are disgusting.
A pious post a few pages ago apologising for not being around for "a couple of weeks" on this board . Brilliant. Not.
If you had an effective system where people could contact you and get issues resolved without having to resort to posting grievances in public then your customers would seriously party !!
Why do you make complaints so difficult ?0
