Anyone got any advice... I bought a PAYG handset from the Vodafone website in their January sale. That was a problem enough, although the phone did arrive. However I changed my mind by the time it arrived so didn't open it.
Spent ages on the phone a week ago today to start the process of returning it. Eventually got through and was told a collection would occur "within 3 days". Nothing then happened. Even taking into account the weekend. So I rang back yesterday. Was told they'd spoke to returns who are "swamped" but would try their best to arrange a collection today. I would get a text from DPD with an estimated time etc.
Surprise surprise no text, no collection so far today. My biggest worry is that the handset was delivered on Monday 5th January so my 14 days is up on Monday. Or does that not count now as I informed them of my intention to return last week?
Not sure what to do next. I can just see they'll say I'm outside 14 days. It can't go back to a Vodafone shop because it was bought online. Live chat can't help with returns. And the call centre (after much holding) just repeat that a return request has been made and will be collected in a few days. But it isn't!0 -

Thanks Lee. As i stated at the beginning I was/am resigned to Feb 24 being cut off date. My own fault as I never kept the original contract. Will not happen again. Once again Thank you.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

Hello Lee,
assuming that you and the rest of the Vodaphone customer service team had a week off for Xmas and New Year, it's still over 4 weeks since I last spoke to you with the promise that you'll get back to me.
After being forced to pay an extortionate amount to end my contract with Vodaphone, in order that I could move to a company that could provide me with a phone signal and 3G, I now have a iPhone 6 that is locked to Vodaphone!
Is there any chance that I could get this sorted soon?
Also I'm waiting on the transcripts of our phone calls so I can pursue my claim against Vodaphone.

Hi All,
I really need an advice. I don't know what to do any more!
I have ordered a phone from Vodafone on 29 November during their Black Friday Sale...and I still haven't received it! I called more than 22 times, wrote emails, wrote in their forum, was promised a manager call back 3 times and I never received it! I feel super humiliated and don't really know what else I can do, I have never seen or experienced anything like that.... This was supposed to be a present for my boyfriend for Christmas...
Did anyone here had similar problem, and how did you guys resolved it?
Thank you in advance.

How funny.
Callbacks? Problems? Going round in circles? Humilitated?

Lee, I have heard nothing since your initial email 8 days ago. Loving this Samsung paper weight on my desk.0

Hi Lee,
I got an email from Vodafone asking me to use their Livechat facility to contact them.
Did so - turned out to be a waste of time. Complaints guy (Ronald) tried to persuade me to buy a SureSignal box for £100 and 'promised' a credit to my account once I'd done so - err, thanks but no thanks, Vodafone's promises mean nothing! Promised yet another manager call back on Monday which I am not expecting to receive.
Can you tell me how to escalate this please, so that I do actually get the promised refunds and am either released from the contract or provided with a SureSignal box??
Thanks,
Meezie.

It's early days for you, I'm afraid. I've been waiting since early November to hear anything and get some action!
