tried to order some bras from next but despite supposedly having lots in my size only 1 style actually was in stock and as that was a padded one I did not bother:mad:

did order form Boux Avenue,3 bras in order to get free post but as returns are free this is not a problem, had an email saying they had been sent so hope they will arrive today
  • I've just bought some bits from M&S in their online sale. NOt much there but a few things that I want (undies for a start).

just got my order from Boux avenue....what a disapointment:(very pretty bras BUT miles too small under bust(at least 4 inches could not even stretch them at the front to fasten)I measured them against my new Fantasie bra and could see at once they were never going to fit.So now still only got 2 bras and going away for the weekend:mad::mad::mad:
  • Oops. Bought a ridiculously-overpriced £20 belt, but it was the only one I liked. Ho hum, I've decided not to get the bag so not so bad really.

Also, is it cheating to make certain items exempt from this challenge?? I know I need to buy a new coat and boots this winter, but those two items alone will obliterate my total and that thought is a bit demotivating. Can I just not include them?? :p

if something is essential(as in new bras when your size changes/knicks that obviously need replacing etc...fill in your own) then I don't think we should include them, new bras I ordered are usually around £25 each due to size not being readily available(34G) so that would soon wipe me out:rotfl:

In the original challenge last year LulaHula drew up some rules for the crazy clothes challenge and since we are a quarter way through this years challenge it might be worth a reminder to keep us all on track
Home clothes are defined as items that you specifically buy to wear in your own time.

    Qualifying items are :

Tops, shorts, skirts, trousers, jeans, leggings, jumpers, cardies, tunics, dresses, blouses, shirts, hoodies, fleeces, waiscoats & little non essential jackets.

    Non qualifying items are :

Lingerie, essential coats, socks, stockings, tights, swimwear, scarves, gloves & of course shoes & bags - They are accessories which is a whole different kind of challenge which I am not playing at :p
But its up to you what you personally decide what is qualifying and non qualifying items - each of us have our own weaknesses when clothes shopping so its up to you whether to curb that part or not, whether its undies, socks,t shirts etc.

But personally I think you will be fine shopping for a winter coat and boots , these as essentials if your current coat and boots are worn and need replacing - ;) - have fun shopping :)
