  • Hello all!

Not posted for a while, which is good because I've not been spending unnecessarily although I've also been slacking on the Freedom days. Although I have been keeping up with everyone else's Freedom adventures. :D

Anyway, with all this mild weather I've decided I can put away my most wintery things (wool coats and dresses) and bring out some exciting spring-ish things :T So today I had a freedom day with: favorite faithful (4 years old!) black gap cigarette trousers; blush pink New Look t-shirt; favorite gray patent courts; and my freedom item of a cream linen jacket with a bit of a gray and blue stripe in it. Bought in H&M about 8 years ago () but I didn't really wear it much, but I always liked it so never threw it out. I felt great in it today though - clearly I had to grow into it.

    Anyway, time for bed . . .

Eltee, I fancy some comfy walking-to-and-from-work trainers that don't look stupid with a skirt, which style have you bought?

I've got some spends to update, not too much though! £4.50 for a dress from a charity shop and £22 on a Primark spree! Got a t-shirt that I just had to buy for my honeymoon in Orlando this September, it's got Minnie and Mickey kissing in front of the 'Cinderella' Castle and it says 'He's my Prince!', I'm going to look so cool with that on and my Minnie Mouse bride headband when we're walking around Disney World! :rotfl: I've been lusting after a brown leather satchel type bag for a while too but I'm refusing to spend a lot of money on one so when there was a nice one in there for £6 I had to have it! I also got 2 necklaces, 2 belts and a bracelet so not too bad! Even if the jewellery falls apart after a few wears I can use the bits for my card making/scrapbooking as it actually works out cheaper than some fancy stickers and looks even better, that's true MSE thinking there! ;)

My Freedom days aren't going too well but I have just washed a dress I haven't worn in ages in the hope that I'll work up the courage to wear it one day this week!

    Room for another? :o

I definitely need this. As someone who goes out and happily buys something in every colour in the shop, in a couple of sizes, sometimes two of each size in each colour to cover the next few months, I definitely no doubts about it need to get a grip on my clothes spending! :o

I'm not in debt so it's not to be debt free, just to be more sensible. So I think i'll give myself a budget of £400 for the rest of the year. Starting from today :)

The second freedom day this week - had to do quick thinking seeing as it's a lot warmer today, sooooooo - black just-below-knee length flared skirt (not worn for about a year) with sleeveless multi-coloured top (usually wear with trousers & cardi), black tights and bunion killing shoes (came to work in lovely lovely comfy sketchers).

need to buy undies - 'specially over the shoulder bolder holders :)

Hi girlies, sorry i havnt popped on in a while.

I have a little debate to settle - its a debate between my head and my purse!!

I took £200 on holiday - I ended up spending less than £50 (lots less!) if I chose to spend this on some lovely new summer bits and bobs and maybe a work top or two - do I have to declare it or does it count as holiday spends ;)

    what do you ladies think?
