I need a cc for work as I travel abroad so much but otherwise I'm tempted to leave it at home. It gives me cash-flow options, where I can pay this month's spending next month. But I'd be better off just going cold turkey and living within my means. I'm trying! Well, aren't we all!
Also bought some bikinis in TK Maxx but with a gift card from refunds before Xmas so I'm not declaring the £40 on two bikinis. Ouch! And I hate having to buy them. Have to go up at least two sizes to get decent, ahem, coverage. One was original price £98! That's a lot of money for not a lot of material!
Like you I need my cc for work, and I do think about leaving it at home, but get 1% cashback (atm) on spends, so not sure quite what is best to do.
I tried on a bikini in TK at the weekend, well tried to...they had, in their wisdom tagged the top and bottom together making it impossible to try the whole thing on at once...sometimes I wonder about that store :doh:Swinstie73 wrote: »Got a lovely and much needed black trench coat from TK, £39.99, it was much better quality than the animal print mac I nearly bought a month or so ago.
Glad you got a coat in the end - deff sounds better than the one you weren't sure about.
I have a bit of a TK Mac dilemma. I bought a coat/mac from there the other week but it's a bit big (it's a 10 and I'm more 8) it was £49.99 but I do love it. It's by Antoni & Alison, cream with blue swirls/dots on it. I am thinking about having it altered to fit, but that will obviously make it more expensive - or i can take it back and still get a credit note (thank goodness they've extended that stupid 14 day return policy). But i'm trying to decide whether it's worth paying for the alteration (which will start at £20 and prob be more I think - waiting for quote) - do I treat it as a frivolity, or an investment. Is less, but quality more??? :think:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hello all!
Well the rest of my figleaves order arrived and I am for the first time in ages to have a matching bra and pants! :j Actually will probably buy more pants (only bought the one pair to check), and have been sent a 20% off code. Was going to wait at least until next month . . . hmm will have a think. Don't really need them.
Also had a pair of jeans from ASOS, but am sending them back - new policy is if the clothes don't make me feel wonderful, and I want to wear it immediately I ain't buying it!

Hello ladies,
BE VERY GOOD NGlady2 - withdraw small amount of cash & only spend that.
I have spends to declare : one bag via ebay @ £8.50 & one dress & one cardi @ £27.25 via meeting a friend for coffee earlier today. My total spends are now a very shameful £140.38p. I did need a new cardi though as old one looked really tatty.
Freedom Friday was a TopShop dress not worn in ages along with tights, boots & suede jacket. I just need to pluck up the courage to wear such things for work.0 -

Earrings from oasis flagship :-) it was a bargain, cos i paid on my vip card to get 25 off 100 spend, and my best friend also brought something so we shared discount. Also spent some money in bodyshop alongside my grupon, 17 but got some lovely new stuff that was sort olf a needed. Feel quite pleaed with myself for not going too mad. I bought a t shirt today £10 it's a Roxy one from t k and I got a bodywarmer from Debs that was reduced from £35 to £24.50 and used £24 in vouchers so £10.50 to add to my total, quite chuffed with how I'm doing on this challenge think it's keeping me really focused on not spending.0
