Gosh - that's amazing - I'd never have sussed out it was an anagram - brilliant
My best tip for avoiding temptation is simply not to look.
Not in shops, not online & if you have even the teeniest streak of a competitive nature .. then definitely not ebay.
(I speak from experience & a bedroom cluttered with brand new & unworn shoes & clothes that I simply had to win ... but that dont fit or flatter. )
Your first step should be to scythe your way through your wardrobe. Get rid of anything that you wont wear again.
Then try to create new outfits & looks from what you have & will wear. We all often tend to wear the same pieces together & it's fun & interesting to see what else can work.
We're all having a go at 'Freedom Days' as invented by fedupandskint when we pledge to wear something that hasnt seen the light of day for a long long time or in some cases, ever :rotfl:
Again, it's making use of what we have & getting the cost : ratio of our clothes balanced
Charity shops are often a great source of new outfits & accessories & increase our klothes karma by helping the charity & the environment:D
I'm sure the others will come up with some more ides but honestly, the easiest one is to just avoid temptation, literally.0 -

I didn't think the way they (Bravissimo/ Pepperberry) described the fit was very helpful - they used to give suggestions based on your cup size and I think that was clearer. I'm sure the shop would be able to help.
I am an F cup and used to buy Really Curvy or Curvy in my usual general size. They have some unusual fits and I find when they work on me they are fabulous and when they don't they're really odd. I think some of the designs are best on people who are kind of 'boldly' curvy, tall and curvy all over, whereas I am shortish and fairly slender built - just fed up of finding I couldn't get shirts to fit my shoulders and button over my bust, or tailored dresses that would fit both my bust and waist - so it's a bit of trial and error, but has to be done early as they often sell out of sizes.

last time I went to Bravissimo for a size check they changed me form f to ff and marks and tesco do not sell ff bras:(,usually get mine from brastop or figleaves.I have big boobs(36ff) but also big waist then small hips(compared to waist) so have to be careful what I buy especially trousers so tend to stick to brands I know work for me.
had a sort out of cupboard where I store shoes(all in boxes but not always the boxes they came in!)and everday t shirts...."found " 2 pairs I had completly forgotten about as due to difficult feet tend to wear same style all the time!plus found forgotten skirt.so freedom day will be blue sandals bought for £9 down from £65 in posh shop(sister said there is a reason they are so cheap:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) with white linen print skirt with same blue in and white top mmmmmm very summery pity I am only going to tesco:rotfl:0 -

Fab, thank you. I will stay away from the shops this weekend, and get OH to tell me off if he sees me browsing the internet! Most of the things I buy online I end up returning anyway because they never fit properly/don't look quite how they did in the picture. I know this, and yet I still seem to have some sort of compulsion to keep buying in this way. But no more!
I'll distract myself by having a clear-out of my wardrobe as you suggest, although it'll probably end with me thinking that I don't like most things in there.. mustn't use that as an excuse for more shopping.
I think having to report spends on here will help keep me on the straight and narrow though, and hopefully I can live vicariously through you lot when you go shopping!MayGC:£118/£360 April:£283

aww Rosemary your outfit sounds lovely - very summery indeed.
My freedom friday means I am wearing a kind of top/dress that has been handed down through my 3 DD's to me - at some point they have all worn it and gone of it but I always admired it and now its mine - all mine! but although its sunny here -its still a bit chilly so a pair of leggings too.Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

heya, can I join please?! Buying lots of cheap clothing pieces is my weakness! I've just got myself a job after a few months of trying to start my career, so now that I'm finally here, I'd like to keep as many pennies in my bank that I can! I'd like a budget of £225 for april-dec which allows me £25 per month for clothing
hope that's okay!
