GSP - best way to avoid temptation is to stay OUT of the shops and do not look - AVOID at this stage if you need to, then it gets easier and easier as new habits kick in

Lula - well done on your weight loss, I wish I could lose 8lbs too!

As for me - Freedom Friday outfit of grey denim pencil skirt and black top and green short mac with large collar - both skirt and coat were commented on separately for being nice

Today Freedom Saturday outfit was the same skirt (3rd time of being worn after buying last Oct/Nov time) and a grey jumper with sequins I've worn about the same number of times!

Spent the M+S gift card today on a nice yellow per una top and a nice bright pink checked shirt which came to £40 - used £30 giftcard and £5 oxfam gift voucher from clothes exchange and paid £5!

Update total to add the £5 shortly

Then mum treated me to some new undies from there too! Great!

Clothing wise then all going well at the moment, next spend will be on a couple more tops and have a look for some spring summery trousers, skirts etc over the next month

    Afternoon all :)

Well I avoided Next - well I didn't ... I tried quite a lot on, about six dresses a skirt and top - and came away empty handed. The sale was pretty pooh to be quite honest woohoo.

I did want one dress - but it was a size six on a 18 coathanger. was gutted. They then spent loads of my time ringing the stock room to be told there wasnt a size 18 in stock. Soon as I went on floor I located one, urgh. Didn't fit, far too big tho lol.

I brought a lovely summer dress £5 and summer top £5 from Primarni . . . To say there only primark there lovely.

    £240

I have a £25 M&S Voucher, but just havent got around to using it yet ... might wait for sale or use for woolly tights if the weather doesnt cheer up a bit.
  • I'm pretty much wearing the same clothes since my university days and that's going back to 2004-2007! Beat that. Though the only stuff I have bought since then have been work clothes..

  • Hi. Been doing some "holiday shopping". Cheap holiday, lots of pre-holiday spending. Bought a sequinned vest top for £2.40, reduced from £25! And some denim wedge shoes for £17. Need to save for some other things so really need to stop shopping. Bought a t-shirt and necklace too but with gift card from last year.

£70 to declare on new Pepperberry dress; gorgeous and wearable for work as well as going out.

£30 on navy maxi dress but also fab and half price - another one that can be worn for work as well as out. Love simple dresses for work as only requires morning co-ordination of sticking feet in sandals :D
