Can I join please? I've currently got £50 budgeted for every 3 months, making a total of £200, but I'll have to redo my budget after I find out if I still have a job! So my target is subject to change.Thank you competition posters!

Hi Decluttering & welcome to the challenge,
Will add you to the list now & keep my fingers crossed for your job

I'd like to join in too and set a budget of £600. That's for me and 3 kids and includes all their clothes and school uniform but doesn't include shoes as new school shoes for the three of them can cost £60-£80 per term (depending on which ones have grown!). It's too big an unknown amount for me to be able to budget properly for them.
I do try to reduce the cost by shopping at outlets and on ebay when I can but cheap shoes don't seem to last 5 minutes on my kids and they almost always turn out to be a false economy.£2012 in 2012 Challenge £2051.06£2013 in 2013 Challenge £500 -
Greetings all!
I too would like to join, I'm dreadful at spending too much on clothes it's truly ridiculous. I need to get lots of small things but not boots or coat which is great, so I would like to try for £240 for the year, and that will include everything.
Good luck everybody! :rotfl:~Nym~

hi there
checking in from down under. I would like to put down for $NZD1000 for our spends this year. BUT I am not going to include shoes. This is because my two DS's have super wide feet, so school shoes each are over $100 a time. Plus they play touch rugby, soccer, and rugby league, which will require Shoes too. OH plays the senior version of the game, and his shoes are $150 odd a piece!!!! So including shoes is not practicable LOL.
So $1000 should do us for clothes though. That is about £500 as the exchange rate is so rubbish at the moment.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Know how you feel! I live in jeans too and really want to wear skirts and dresses again. I bought a grey denim pencil skirt from M+S a few months ago and guess what have worn it once so far
I bet no one else bothers about what we look like with a skirt on - lets go for it :jfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
