  • I tried this back in 2008 (I think) and failed miserably. Didn't bother last year as I was pregnant again, and this year I'm pregnant again! BUT I'm determined to give it a go this time. Please can you put me down for £300. I've got quite a lot of maternity things, and then am hoping that I will be able to slim back into my normal clothes quite quickly (who am I kidding...)
I'm looking forward to seeing how well you all do :p

  • I am a little scared by this challenge, just reading through it is giving me mild palpitations! That said I know it is something I need to get a handle of, I am a devoted ebayer of dd's clothing etc so any earnings may be getting added to my budget.

Now for the total, I like the idea of including dd as her clothes are a major addiction anyways I'll go for £500 between us. I know that may seem not so much of a challenge to some but to me it will be and that is to include what I intend to be a major splurge for summer holiday clothes :p

    Hi there!

I am definitley in for this challenge!

Ive got quite a good thing going on in my wardrobe at the minute so my budget is going to be £100.

I cannot however include DD and DH in this :o

My other small print is I do have wedding underwear to buy which will still be economical and I would like to reserve the right not to put footwear on there!

    Looking forward to this one

    Good luck everyone

Lula, could I join and my target is £200, reckon this will keep me focused to not waste money on clothes this year, cos I don't need anything really but I can't stop myself sometimes from buying clothes.

hi i will sign up, i buy far too many clothes and always feel like i have nothing to wear. I will set a challenge of £250 for the year, as a sub challenge to myself i am going to try not to wear jeans on a weekend as i tend to throw these on and then ignore all the other lovely clothes i have. I have recently stocked up on basics such as leggings and tee shirt tops to make sure i can wear all my clothes, also the jens i have fit really badly so they are not comfy to wear. the only thing i really need to buy is some new underwear - there are some shockers in my draw!

Hi & welcome to lauradora, eco & alfiecat

eco, just think 'boat' ... are you designing a huge walk-in wardrobe for your barge ?

That's another reason I need to drop 2 sizes, skinny clothes will take up less space :rotfl:
