    Hi,

If it is not too late I would like to sign up for this challenge, I've been lurking in the background, reading the thread for a couple of weeks, but trying to decide if I should join and what my budget should be.

If I am not too late - please can you put me down for £200 in 2011.

Already spent £12 on two wooly hats since 01/01 cos it has been so cold :( but shouldn't need to buy anything else for a couple of months unless my work shoes get too tatty in that time, in which they will have to be replaced.
Debt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage :o) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.

    Morning Lula et al :)

Well I had a fantastic mini-break :) Have to declare that I brought one dress, but it was bobbly after one wash :O so has gone back. However I abso loved it so going to rebuy and hopefully itll be a better one :) But on a great note, I brought that and a plain black tee worth £5 for £26.98 as I had a £5 voucher, I took the dress back yesterday and got the full £26.99 back so a penny profit annd a free top :)

howvever that was spent before the challange started for me, so doesnt count.

Do want to declare: Which was spent on a lovely primark skirt, but may be exchanged for a different one I was debating between which was also £16 so will declare it now :) Leaving £74 till the 28th and £974 until new years eve :)

    £16
  • I've spent another £5 (a skirt from Next). Spend so far is £42.50.
EXCEPT I forgot that the tights I bought yesterday cost me 20% off £3 so have taken the 60p saving off my siggy. yippee!

Hi girlies - im afraid I must reveal a spend of £5.28 - these damn mse forums, must avoid the grabbit section as currently perving over a pink handbag in the suzy smith sale which will have no real use until at least june IMO and could go out of another months budget, but its a limited time offer.
    must... avoid.... :(
On another note however I am now looking for my colleagues birthday pressie so thats some free shopping :)

eeeek....I am deff thinking I should join up - I just bought a dress on eBay totalling £50 (incl p&p) Its one I saw in the States and wish I'd bought over there (would've been £85 in the shop - yikes!). Just keeping everything crossed that it actually fits.... have two weddings coming up so the plan is to wear it for both of those.

now I'm determined that's my clothes shopping done for a considerable amount of time - I might need a new bikini for hols (current one is about 8yrs old) but I'm sure I don't need anything else.

    Hi all

I joined this challenge but haven't spent anything so far. However......have got a new job and need new wardrobe. going to try to be as frugal as possible but I think a big bite is going to be taken out of my £150 budget:D

Planning to hit shops next week and find some colourful blouses/tops to update suits. I shall also be hitting the charity shops.

    Wish me luck

Don't forget its Freedom Monday again tomorrow

Free your clothes from your wardrobe that you don't wear - why not? Give them a try (and bags and shoes and boots and anything else- scarves, necklaces etc etc)

My freedom outfit is going to be some boots I haven't worn for ages and a coat I haven't worn for at least a year :D
