HAPPY NEW CLOTHES :j
We had to go into town this morning to buy birthday gifts for DDs friends & decided to get the teachers at the same time to avoid more parking costs later on.
Ended up in primarni to get DD some pumps for holiday & also got her some new undies as last week's laundry revealed she still has age 7-8 knickers :rotfl:. Now fully stocked for hopefully a few months & another £15 added to her budget.

Hello
Haven't posted for a bit as have been in control of clothes spending but been a tired this week lots going on at work and home and felt like a bit of a pick me up plus needed or maybe that should read wanted a new top for an evening out on friday so spent £56.29 on a cardi, evening top, 2 t shirts and a pair of earrings. they were all reduced.
plus 24.50 on school uniform PE kit, fleece and bookbag for DD2 will recycle pinifore/ skirt from DD1 and my niece but still need polo shirts as DS has turned all the ones I had grey.
so please add on £80.79 in total yikees!:eek:Be Amazing0 -
Ooops
seem to have misplaced £26.50 at lunchtime . I knew there was a reason I started taking lunches in. I have been so busy the last couple of months I haven't had time to wander the shops and it seems there are benefits to that after all!
Damage:
£4 scarf
£3 headband (one of the cloth wired ones, haven't tried these so it is basically to experiment with)
£2 cute socks
£2.50 more cute socks
£15 floral holdall bag - not an intended purchase, but very pretty, decent quality and already had compliments on it as soon as it arrived in the office, so happy it will get good CPW.
Total now at £767  *hides eyes*

Binned: 1 belt and 1 T shirt (both unwearable)
Up for grabs on eBay: 1 belt
To be added to eBay: 3 belts
On eBay: Loads of skincare and makeup with more to be added
Found another T shirt today to add to eBay as well.
No new purchases although I may well be buying more stuff in 2 weeks at work as Uniform (I literally HAVE to) but luckily I have some vouchers for the shop in question from doing surveys online so it should not cost me any cash as it were...0 -
Binned another beyond-repair top and found out I will be required to buy new clothes for work next week.0

:hello: everyone,
Back from holibobs and no clothes spends to report as yet... but managed to throw a glass of wine over both a white vest top and a red 3/4 sleeve tee (I was layering, the wine went all the way through. It was literally a brand new, full glass.). Anyone got any tips for removing the stain? I rinsed as much out as I could at the time, but I think they are beyond saving.
So, I suspect I will need a new white vest at least, as I wear it with so much! Or perhaps I can still use it as an underneath layer, as the wine is only over the bottom half... mildly depressing though, walking about covered in old vino! :rotfl:“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Lotti, the dip dye look is great for summer...0

lol, maybe I should chuck another glass over the back to make it match up! :rotfl:“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Lotti - try soaking it hot water and soda crystals overnight and then wash - can't say for sure it will work but soda crystals are very good household strain removers and you can use it in the washing machine too. Find them in Wilko's and Home Bargains (cheapest) or laundry isle of supermarkets approx 90p per bagfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

In all seriousness, apparently white wine removes red wine stains....don't know if this is true or just an old wives' tale though...0
