Hi all
Binned and gave a lot to charity recently.
Had to buy a pair of trousers and 2 tops for work but I got a discount on them as an employee...furthermore, one of the tops will be ebayed as soon as the season is over as I don't even like it really...just was one of the less minging items available in my size at the time.
Doing another lot of eBaying soon; got 5 pairs of Ugg boots to find new homes for as a starter...0 -
Need a smack on the bum today have to declare £81.88 mostly sale items:o
and only one thing for me a set of braclets for £6.99
rest was for my 15 yr old daughter shes off to france on a school trip and is feeling a bit left out as her friends seem to have endless changes of clothes and I remember how that feels
so I got her
shoes £8 may borrow these myself as I have a function next weekend
skirt £12, vest top £3.50, dress £10 reduced from £20 from matalan
plus another dress, 2 skirts and a top for £42 from new look sale
one skirt she didn't like plus I found a hole in the top so they are going back.
will deduct if returned later as skirt might have to be vouchers
Now realising where my money is going!!Be Amazing0 -

Dilema alert!
Over the weekend my skinny pair of jeans I have had over 6 years have ripped at the top of the thigh - really to high to cut into shorts - well not at my age.
Went to put on my nice jeans i got from Next last year and have noticed they are starting to fray at the middle seam.
What made it worse I thought I was being thifty and cut a pair that had already gone at the ankles into shortie jeans so it looks like my trip to London in August will be for a pair of jeans.Hmmmm was doing so well too.Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

It sounds to me like a new pair of jeans are deff going to be an essential purchase. If current ones are ripped (and not in a uber-fashion way) and fraying, I think it is allowable to consider them well worn and in need of replacement. Stick the skinny ones on eBay and see if anyone will buy them - just pretend the rip should be there :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

They never fray somewhere hideable do they? I still have my absolute favourite pair ever, but can't wear them as the rip is right on a cheek :rotfl:. Always meant to find someone to copy them for me.

Hi all
Is it too late for a newbie to join? I would like to keep my spending under £200 for the rest of the year.
Also where do you guys think is the best place to get cheap underwear? ( I am a Londoner) Typically my underwear has all fallen to bits at once and I need a job lot.
I usually by at m&s but was hopping to pay less. Also how do you keep your budget for tights down? I get through so many pairs a year, I dread to think how much I spend.
Thanks0 -
:oToo true Kerri gt- might take them to car boot with me next time and sell as vintage!
I have a pair similar Rosa too - absolute faves for years - I don't wear them as they are boot cuts paling beyond the blue but they have little embrodied mirrors on the bottoms - yes they are from that era about 15 years ago I think???? - really soooo out of date but hoping they might come back in fashion one day:rotfl:
Hello ChihiroSen and welcome, great to have new people on board- gosh tights and undies and you are in London???If on a budget start with Prim**K I suppose but have noticed sales of winter tights at sily prices in New L**k up here so might be worth a trip to your local one to have a look- but I don't think we count these in our budget unless you really want to - these are essential items I think - lula will come along soon am sure to sort us out am sure
Off to work now

Although officially out of the challenge, I did buy a little floral blouse from a charity shop at the weekend for £2.99. OH looked at it like !!!!!! but it looks cute on with skinny jeans.0
