I also bought a second pair of slippers (thicker ones for colder weather and it IS freezing at the moment). The slippers are to replace the pair I've been wearing since 2003 and which now have multiple holes in both...
Well, I kept the second pair of slippers too. But they'll see me through winter for at least 2 years. My last pair saw me through 7 winters!!:eek:0 -
Spent £20 in primark today, got two new tops, some canvas shoes and some leggings. Takes me up to £38.50 for the year so far.0

Doing another lot of eBaying soon; got 5 pairs of Ugg boots to find new homes for as a starter...
Flickering Ember - Wow Five pairs??? That's amazing - Are they all different colours/styles? Good luck with ebaying them. Are you not going to keep at least one pair????
well I never got to sports direct - ermmmm I totatlly forgot that myself and DD3 had been invited to a masquerade Ball ( 18th birthday).
Had to shop in my wardrobe and luckily dragged out a couple of staples ( knowing the company I was going to be with had never seen either) and plumped for a black high split skirt with a sequinned top with peacock blue satin base.
DD3 was saved by DD1 who gave her a black satin ribbon dress LBD,worn for her first posh do and luckily I had some masks that I used at at a hen weekend a couple of years ago and teamed with a chiffon black evening embroidered scarf ( but i didn't tell her I found it chucked out by a neighbour some 5 years ago in a pile of rubbish in our yard - just washed it and put it away)

I'm a numpty I updated my spends but didn't confess, I got a pair of hiking boots from Amzon, was £41.25 but they were doing £10 off a £40 spend, and I had £20 gift vouchers from surveys so grand total £11.25. I don't think I've ever put so much effort into getting clothes and footwear so cheap, don't want to blow my budget.0

Have to add some spending and some returns to come off. My daughter didn't like one of the skirts I brought her last week and one of the tops had a hole in it and I took my bracelet back as was feeling guilty- look what you've done to me!!lol:p
Purchased a pair of jeggings reduced £14 to and a reduced £20 top plus necklace and earrings £14 so £84 in total spent plus I have a £10 voucher from one of the returnsBe Amazing0 -
Afternoon All
Haven't had a freedom day for aaaaaaages, but last week during a bit of an ironing marathon (ongoing) came across a pair of cropped lightweight trews in a pinky colour which I haven't worn for well over a year. So they are at work with me today.
AND, just remembered I have an unspent £20 H&M giftcard left over from Christmas......and a £10 M&S voucher from surveys.
so I will be NOT declaring a spend shortly
