£19.80 spent on bras!DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt
August GC £0/£3000 -
Another spend for me to report, a top reduced to £6 in ASDA. Still not sure about it so it's going to get a test run at work tomorrow. I think I'll be able to use it as a leisure top if it doesn't cut the mustard.
On another note...I have to stop buying tops! I have too many and nowhere near enough trousers. I find trousers harder to buy (long legs, narrow hips) so a lot of the time I don't even tempt myself by looking at them.Thank you competition posters!

Hello lovelies,
apologies for long absence; been double working all week .
Chev, so sorry to hear about your Dad hon :grouphug: hope you're finding a way through the bleakness. Do take care of yourself & any necessary purchases for unforseen events are of course, excluded from the challenge.
Thinking of you xx
Swinstie - Congratulations on being cured :T I'm a bit worried that your condition is highly contagious as I havent been near a shop for ages either.
I'm trying really hard to not wear the boring black linen trousers that have become my work wardrobe rut. This is mainly thanks to Rosa sharing that she no longer wears black & today was the first day that I wore them. Every other day this week has been a freedom one.
HAPPY NEW CLOTHES to all that have them:j0 -
I wear black everyday and I don't think I'll ever give it up!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

It's not so much the colour black that's my problem, it's the boring linen trousers that I was just putting on every day almost like a uniform ... that's what happens when you have 4 identical pairs
I have 3 or 4 dresses that are black based & will still be wearing those ... just need to cheer my outfits up a bit. Ok, a lot
I'm loving your holiday items ... have been reading a lot about only taking hand luggage on hols & really like the concept of it so might just play about with seeing what I can pack into one.
You telling me that 7 pairs of shoes was too many to take on holiday is forever etched in my mind:rotfl:
Hope it's everything you need (many portuguese guys are hot) & look forward to hearing all about it

Chev, sorry to hear about your Dad.
Have acquired some lovely new things, but all courtesy of birthday money, so no further spends to declare.
I've bought two sun hats (me and sister couldn't agree which was nicer, so had both!), knickers, socks, bracelet, pretty hair grips and two bras. One bra I'm taking back as it's not very flattering! It is a plunge design and I think balcony style suits me better - I already knew this, so why did I buy a plunge bra!?
Went to a comedy show tonight, haven't been to bed yet, so is still tonight to me (Greg Davies, the teacher from 'The Inbetweeners'), great show and I wore my Joe Brown tunic (only the second time I've worn it since buying in December) over jeans and black boots! Felt quite good about myself, even though the boots are falling apart!0 -
Hello everyone
I'm hoping I can join you all?
I know we're half way through the year but tight finances bring me here and I had already set myself a challenge to only dress from charity shops for the rest of the year.I'm allowing myself £80 to spend till the turn of the year, only from charity shops... eeeek!
My first problem is I need some pyjama's and don't fancy wearing second hand ones lol I think I'll have to buy some fabric and knicker elstic to make my own!
Pleased to be here, just hope I can join.0 -
Hello freudianslip & welcome to our crazy world
It's never too late to join us & if you're needing pj's then I reckon the cheapest place is either primarni or tatco. I'm sure there are some ebay sellers who have new stuff & of course ebay is quidco able too :j
If you can fit into them, dont forget that kids clothes are vat free so usually cheaper & tatco are pretty generous with their kids sizes ( says she, wearer of age 15-16 'jamas)
