£50 to confess on a Fat Face maxi dress. It's fab and will be worn mainly for work (with camisole to prevent escape of Frigga and Freyja) and probably also on weekends.

Chev, so sorry to hear about your dadHappy New Clothes to all
I'm being very good at the moment & came across the following article which I though was quite pertinent for us:

xx
Oh I read this article that weekend too (and it was my housemate's copy of the paper :money:) Really interesting and really begins to make you think about what you buy.
Having said that I have not been so good . . . I needed a pair of denim shorts for the summer, I wore them loads last year but had to ditch that pair because they were created from a old pair of jeans so a) completely threadbare and b) not that flattering a position of the pockets for use as shorts :rotfl: After reading the article did go have a look at ethically produced ones but couldn't find anything right.
Anyway I decided the only way forward was to trawl the high street trying on anything remotely suitable untill I found the right ones. And it worked, I bought some from Miss Selfridge that are just right, and it's a shop I haven't bought anything in for about 4 years!
And then I also bought a skirt in Zara, which I love but was completely unnecessary. It needs taking in a tiny bit at the waist to be absolutely perfect, which I am more than capable of. But thinking maybe I should just take it back. Will declare now and think about it.

Well ladies, I think I am cured so may bow out of this challenge. I seriously havent even had the urge to buy any clothes - the reason being, is that myself and OH have just bought our first house together (with less wardrobe space than I have currently, eek) and I am more than happy to buy goodies for the house rather than clothes, I have tonnes anyway. Might even try my hand at ebay. Good luck everyone (if I come back, it's cos I've fell off the wagon) - I will still be lurking....0
