Here is my first quarter total
Jan - March = £51.46
April - June = £65.41
Budget left = £133.13
Had a think about what I want to buy for the summer - a couple of tops and a pair of cropped trousers for holiday and to use afterwards. Have enough footwear and jacketsfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I've given a couple of things to a dress agency to sell. They were very fussy about what they took and they only give you half of the sale price, but it saves all the work of putting them on ebay.0

bought the East skirt I had tried on in Harrogate using 20% off coupon(resisted other stuff in hope I can buy in sale)so another £53 off my total leaving me with £33:eek:
I know it was expensive but was just what I wanted and will therefore wear a lot.
went into Primark and picked up 3 nice skirts but put them back when i saw the size of the queue for the changing rooms:eek::eek::eek:
they looked very small to me and did not want to buy without trying, guess that is a problem with shopping at cheaper shops0 -
Amazing result on the quarterly declarations. Much as I would love to declare mine .... all the details are on the lappie which is at the doctors.
I do however, know that of my many ebay purchases, about £50 were wasted challenge money ie I'm not wearing them. The raincoat I passed on to DD who loves it & the other bits will be either charitized or sold. I did not stick to the 'Absolutely Love It' rules so now suffer the penalty
Rosemary - congratulations on your discounted skirt that you do absolutely love :j however, I am wondering why you then went on to try to buy another 3 skirts in the same day ??? A lucky escape that the changing rooms were full I reckon.
Yes, I can preach it, just not so good on the practising .
Anyway, due to the untimely demise of my lappie, my second quarter budget will be a lot less than the 1st, I guarantee it.
In all honestly, I need nothing. I turned a pair of combats into shorts during the hot weather last week & if I can shed the final 10lbs, then I'll be able to fit into the other 4 pairs I have. If ...0 -
Just to say tried out racerback bra converter today and am very impressed - solved the problem of straps showing, didn't alter the support and was perfectly comfortable.
At £2 for four colours (inc postage) off Ebay, versus the cost of a new convertible or different style bra, I reckon that's the best value 50p I have ever spent on underwear :rotfl:

The 'bad' news is that I have a further £40 to declare on a fab dress - it's perfect for work so will get a lot of wear, and replaces one I had to ditch a few weeks ago when I realised that the jersey was wearing really thin in places. It already goes with sandals that were languishing unworn so happy this gets through the Absolutely Love It rule.
But an unflattering experience in the carefully lit M&S changing rooms has reminded me about the importance of correctly fitting underwear that still has some elastic :( :rotfl: . So replacements are needed - will have to have a Bravissimo trip shortly.

Why thank you
Although there are probably other considerations that should be included when judging the ultimate value of some items (like appreciation and results :rotfl:;) )

I found a store called Aerie that do great bra's with a little hook attached that you can use to convert the bra into a racerback - far more comfortable than using a multi-way crossover that always pull on my shoulders no matter how loose I make the straps. The only downside is that the store is based in america - they do ship to the UK but it's expensiveFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
