hello to everyone else.
Its pouring down here..dog has just refused to go out in it! She is a fair weather dog, absolutely hates the rain. I have seen her head for home if the rain comes on when we are down the park!
I need to do some serious studying today. got out of going to work as there was going to be too many of us for the work that was booked...so I volunteered not to come in. Will mean no extra cash but I am so behind with my course.
My husband works most saturdays so when he's off saturday is treat night!! take away, bottle of wine, flicking channels between X factor and SCD.

no on to today once I get moving a bit better joints pretty stiff today I have a bathroom to clean a washing pile that rivals mont everest most of which belongs to my ds1&2 and anything else is a bonus today
dh has gone to a training couse for work so won't be back until after 1 o'clock so should be able to get plenty done

Morning everyone

Today is the first Saturday I have had off work since March that we have not been away on holiday or just "elsewhere" and what happens I am wide awake at 6:30 because of the blooming rain :mad:

It has been raining constantly since yesterday morning. Stayed in yesterday as there was nothing urgent I had to go out for and I couldn't be bothered with getting soaked.

Hubby and I were going to go into Edinburgh today for some Crimbo shopping and lunch but unless it clears up this will get put off.

Other plans today will probably be some ironing. Done some yesterday then got bored with it (and I had a bit of a sore back as well). Don't think I will do much else though as it would be nice to have a "day off"

I have a "Me" day ahead - good old fashioned pampering and self indulgence to restore body, mind and soul

Ok, ok, ok, inbetween there is also a bit more washing to be done, but I'm used to multitasking Oh and I *have* to stay in all day ... awaiting a delivery :laugh:

Tomorrow will be a busy day, I'm off to friends a) to babysit - even though J has finished her radiotherapy, she's still not too well; so, I'm going over early because her husband needs and deserves some guilt free time out and I can just as easily get on with lunch there as here b) they have a bed to move out so another can be moved in; I'll be lending some muscle power. c) by the end of the day, I'll be having some hypnotherapy with P

GR - haven't caught up with your news (yet) but I gather it's something to do with a neighbour ... let me know if they need hexing .. my friend P is a dab hand :whistle: :laugh:

Morning All :hello:

Had a bit of a lie in this morning ..... well 7.30 is late for me to get up so I feel rested and ready to go

Had a really bad day yesterday trying to sort out a delivery issue with play, finally managed to get it sorted but I have to admit to thinking at one point that I was going to be defeated.So as long as the correct product arrives on Tuesday OH should have a happy birthday

Mum and Dad are popping over this morning, Dad's doing a few DIY jobs that OH hasn't gotten around too........... There's a bead sale in town and a Xmas craft fair not too far away so am planning on doing both with them later.
Need to do some crafting.... have 2 cards to finish for birthdays next week.
Managed to frame my 3 latest cross stitchs last night so will hang then later.
WM just about to go on, have promised OH some scones for when he comes home, need to sort the recycling and book for a blood donation on Thursday.

Well :grouphug: to all today, hope that this rain clears,

What a night you had GR, hope you are feeling ok, and i wouldnt stop until he has had that stupid sign removed!!!

Dh just about to go work, his first sat in this new job, only half day but its time and a half, and he only has to do one sat in 3.
So i am taking the kids to ds3 footy match.Important match today as he is 2nd in the leauge at the min.

Have to shop later and do some ironing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
