Well I've had a busy afternoon in the kitchen. Four 2 portion lasagnes prepared plus a coffee sponge for my friend and have tried out Queenie's Jam Crumblies which are very nice - just had one with my coffee;)

For tea we are having some tuna fishcakes from the freezer with peas and chips.

Am off for a rest in a minute!

    Take care xx

  • hi all,

had a spate of bad luck. we discovered yesterday that water has been getting into our shed where we keep our car booty stuff! the shed has gone mouldy eek and loads of stuff has had to be chucked out. we are in the process of checking stuff and bringing what is salvageable back in the house. once emptied we are going to paint on thick bleach to all the walls, roof and floor. hopefully this will kill the mould. plan is then to ensure it's watertight and we might reline it with new wood. we then intend to paint it with tough paint inside and out. the worst thing is it was built with treated outdoor plywood and had three coats of outdoor fence /shed paint. i am planning to email focus to complain but probably won't get anywhere.

the next bad thing was OH xbox 360 has just broken. it was only bought in august. luckily he bought it from game and their policy is to replace like for like - which saves him having to wait for microsoft to fix it. he's away to pick up his new one just now, i'm really pleased as he was feeling really down about it, especially as the boys are here tomorrow, and they love playing it with him.

sods law that this happens just when you feel you are getting somewhere.

anyway good news is it hasn't rained for 2 days so we can stop building the ark! lol

my diet is going well and i have lost 2 kilos in a week!

made a big pot of chilli yesterday so froze 2 double portions for nights we don't feel like cooking. pork chasseur for dinner tonight.

    hope everyone is well

    Sitting here at work.

I've dared to log on at work and I just know I'll get hauled up tomorrow. Oh well - I could be doing much worse, if only they knew.

Royal Mail is really getting me down at the moment. My contact lenses were a week late last week - so I had to use my specs. Not really abig deal. But I'm also waiting for two parcels, one was dispatched on the 6th November and one on the 13th. Last week I went to collect one from the sorting office (after having a card put through the door) and it had been sent out in July! Only 4 months late.

Trouble is I like shopping on the internet - I can't face shops with the kids. The poor kids hate shopping - and I can't blame them really. I'd rather be doing something else with them. But bloomin royal mail is really messing things up.

    ho hum - rant over.

Not a lot OS today - chicken tikka for tea. I didn't bring my lunch in to work today cos I'd forgotten to stick the BM on last night :o .

I need you lot to give me a kick up the backside.

Sorry I have not been online for a couple of days, had a very bad reaction to the medication the Doctor gave me last week,  was thinking at one stage that I needed to call an ambulance and a paramedic!!!! A little better today, but will see how I fair tonight, have had 3 nights now when I have had a total of 2 hours sleep a night.

Did manage about 7 hours downstairs today compared with 2 yesterday, just come up for a shower and to get into bed and try and settle down for tonight. Have also managed to eat a little more, yesterday it was 2 slices of toast...........

Spoke to the Dr today, I had stopped taking the medication, but it can take 3 - 4 days to work out of the system, she has sent a script to the chemist for a drug I have had before with no ill effects, but have not to start it until the weekend...........

Hope to be back posting later in the week...............
