    Morning all

Huggles to all that need them.

The house is looking remarkably clean and tidy but I must clean the bathroom today, it's looking like a grot shop. I have some reduced Scottish mince that I must use today so I may spoil DH and make his favourite Shepherds Pie. I have some parcels due to arrive so I'm hoping they come early so I can venture out of the house too. If not I am going to get on with shampooing the carpets and finishing the scarf I am knitting for MIL. I must concentrate on the washing mountain too. It grew like wild fire when I was sick :(

Huggles to all and have a good day.

  • Morning Guys!

Slept quite well last night, so feel refreshed...kind of:p :rotfl:

Wet and gloomy here this morning. The house is pretty much done. DW will need to go on later and the toilet has been cleaned. DD even tidied up after herself in the kitchen this morning after getting her cooking ingredients together for school;) Beds have been aired and made and all is tidy/clean.

Waiting on the WM man who can hopefully fix it today! BIL went to Makros last night as his FIL works there and had a family night with all super special deals. He picked us up 160 Persil Non-Bio tablets (suppose to use 2 per wash but will try 1 per wash) for £10 and 610 Typhoo Tea Bags in 2 lovely tins for £3.50 BOGOF....so the total grand amount was £13.50:D They dropped them in last night on their way home.

Quick question! With the Persil tablets it states for best washing to use a string pull bag but there wasnt one in with all the tablets. Does this matter? Could I just put in the tray where I normally put the wash powder? Or, where do I get one?

Had a very relaxing day yesterday...untill....we had just served our roast onto our plates and going into the lounge when door went and was MIL with grandson (satan!)....she just said ...Ohh your having your tea and sat down and started chatting:confused: ...I was fuming as I cant stand her at the best of times, but not when Im eating! She did comment on how lovely it looked (Roast Chick, Roasties, Yorkies, Bean, Carrots, Sprouts & Parsnips) and had the nerve to ask if I had cooked it:mad: ...cheeky cow! She also said to DD...cor you dont normally eat your veg....classic answer coming up though from DD.....she replied by saying....well granny, the last time I had dinner at yours...I was about 4 years old and you made me egg/chips and didnt give me veg-but you only eat tinned veg and I dont like that:eek:   ....I nearly choked on my sprout:D It was a Kodak moment! Isnt family bliss:A

We all rested well yesterday and even sorted a large amount of stuff for the Bootsale corner in the shed. Sorted out under the stairs with the Ebay stuff and was very ruthless with it. Only kept what I knew would sell and the rest will be bootsaled! Today I will be happy if we can just get some stuff from under the bed to the cupboard as I would love under our bed to be cleared.

Anyway, I must go-but as you can see am having a good day so far as the drugs have kicked in already. Have a hospital appointment tomorrow and DH has to have a scan for the stones:eek: and my GP has penciled me in for a morphine injection on Thursday morning as OH & I are away for 2 nights to Birmingham to the Good Food Show...I cant wait.

    Breakie: Bacon Roll
    Lunch: Soup & Roll
Dinner: Lamb Chops, New Potatoes, French Beans, Cauli & Mint Gravy

    Hugs to all.

    Morning!!

Wet and windy by the sea here, think I will take my arm bands just in case I break down:rotfl:
Spent the day yesterday cleaing out under the sink and packing more stuff:rolleyes: I was amazed and how many cleaning products I had..you would all be ashamed of me, I never use them anymore only startdrops:D anyway I have kept them and will use them up when we move.
I am surrounded by boxes and it's driving me nuts, I can't find anything at all, nevermind 5 days to go :j :j :j
OH seems a little better but I still want him to see his GP to be on the safe side.
Not too sure what's for dinner tonight might be salmon or might be fish and chips from the chippy if I can't find my pots and pans:rotfl:
I hope everyone is happy and well..........I best shake a leg I have to zoom off to Hildenborough this morning.
    Take care
  • iwanttosave-Hey Hun...missed our PM's! Didnt sit exam due to incompetence of OU, so have to sit in June 2007...I probably would have forgot everything by then as I have started another course now:eek:   ...but it does give me some extra time and tutor sent me the test paper from last year. I'll PM you later....lovely to hear from you...wondered how you were doing.

I will give Persil a call and use the tight idea.

    Thanks guys.

  • Morning everyone :hello:

Another bad night's sleep last night. Don't know why I'm not sleeping but something is obviously troubling me. Must try and work out what it is.

Haven't read the thread yet but ((( hugs ))) to all who need one.

Must go and have my porridge before trying to dry my hair into something resembling a presentable style for w**k. I hope this week is better than last week.

Hope your Monday is a good one.

Really must catch up with housework at some point - I missed doing it properly over the weekend. A quick flick here and there is not acceptable.

Have a lovely day to those at work, shopping, or staying at home, and hope you feel better those who are poorly.
