Morning OSers! *waving*
haven't been around for a bit as real life has been hectic and OS ways have slipped a tad, so need to be back in here everyday to keep myself focused.
OS stuff? Went shopping yesterday and felt like I was physically incapable of buying what I used to buy - went round reading all the labels and was like EWWWW! if it had fillers and e numbers etc in it. So it kinda forces you into cooking properly, doesn't it?
Still no christmas prep done but refuse to panic, it'll be reet as they say up here
Hope everyone has an excellent day, take care of yourselves, ya hear? xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Good morning everyone! :hello:
We had a busy weekend, trying to get Christmas sorted out for the in-laws as Dh and Ds2 are off to London next weekend to visit them and they may as well take the Christmas presents with them to save on postage. As Mr Pink is the eldest of five children and we buy for all the nieces and nephews, that will be quite a big saving.
Ds1 went to the Ireland v Australia rugby international in Dublin yesterday. He needed to take some euros in case he needed to buy drinks etc. I asked Mr Pink to pick up some last week but he assured me that we had euros left over from the holiday…….needless to say Sunday morning was spent frantically trying to find the imaginary euros, before we had to phone some friends who were able to lend us some.So I have to get to the bank today to replace them, and I think I might bake something nice for them too by way of apology for disturbing them on a Sunday morning. Did I mention that Ireland won 18-6! :j Sorry Aussie!
Like a lot of you, I didn’t sleep very well last night, so I’m having a slow start this morning….I’ll finish this coffee and then plan what to do with the day. The sun is shining and showing the dirt on the windows to maximum effect, so I think that might have to be one of the first jobs.
iwanttosave, welcome and thanks for dealing with the spammer on os
Westy, good to see you back again.
I hope you all have a good Monday.

Edited to say... Welcome back Moggins! Sorry you haven't been well, but it's great to see you again!0 -

What can I do to keep me awake? I wannna try to make it till about 10pm so I can get a nights sleep.
I have caffine tablets, and am drinking tea with sugar in, what else can I do?
Extra strong cappacino (sp?). Two of these and I start ironing the curtains and polishing the back of the fridgeThree of these and I get the jitters and the dogs look nervous
Also full fat [STRIKE]coke [/STRIKE] coca cola stops me sleeping if I drink it in the evening. Doesn't happen often as I don't like sweet fizzy drinks _pale_

Morning Everybody :hello:
Welcome to Wanty, nice to see you on OSRe staying awake, eat some good nutritious food with lots of minerals and slow-release carbs! Bananas are great.
PP - I've got about 6 of those Persil bag thingies! I'll drop one round to you on Wednesday.
Well I can't stop long as I am mega busy today, seeing as it's my only day in the office this week. As those of you who have been following my house move saga will already know, I had kept most of my evenings free for the past 2 months with the intention of moving at a time which fit in nicely with my schedule. Of course it took that long for the HA's solicitor to get organised, that I've ended up having to plan my move in the middle of a three week period where I'm out 14 evenings out of 21, including 2 trips out of town  but the alternative would have been moving two weeks before Christmas which didn't sound like much fun either! So this is what the rest of my week looks like:
Today: get my monthly report finished, plus all the other work that can't wait until next week. Then this evening I am off on a "day trip" of sorts, with my best friend - we are off to Edinburgh to see an opera production by our favourite director, and I couldn't believe what a bargain we got on the trip - we're heading off overnight on the Caledonian Sleeper train thanks to a "bargain berths" deal which gave us the round trip for £48 each :money: - and because we're on the sleeper train, we don't have to waste out waking hours travelling, OR pay for a hotel - BARGAIN!!!!
Tomorrow: explore Edinburgh. I think a little whisky-tasting adventure is in order- and obviously then we're going to the opera, and heading back on the sleeper train overnight.
Wednesday: get back into Euston early in the morning. Head home to finish packing while I wait for a phone call about completion on the flat. When said phone call comes, head into London to pick up the keys. Depending on what time it is, possibly go over to the flat and get the utility accounts put into my name. Head back into London for a (thankfully short!) evening out which I've had booked for ages.
Thursday: removal men turning up around 9. Hope to be in the flat by lunchtime. Ensure I am organised enough to not have to leave the flat at all on Friday, as I am having various essential items delivered including my new bed and fridge. Also on Thursday my dad is turning up with his camp bed so I have something to sleep on until my proper one turns up. Needless to say, on Thursday evening I am once again going out! Thank God.
Friday: wait in for stuff to be delivered.
Saturday: go back over to current house to pick up what's left of my frozen food, once my freezer is up and running.
Anyway, as you can see I am going to be a bit busy...

Just to annoy you all id like to say hello from the sunny but cold north east! makes a nice change. I had a good night last night, in fact my dd (20mths) had a lie in, again a nice change but big hugs to all who had a rotten night for whatever reason.
My plans for today,
- get through my washing pile, sorry mountain, dh has been in charge of it and the kitchen and both look like theyve not been touched all year.
- do the washing up, again huge job
- carry on my freecycle offers of junk from the kitchen
- have a bit of a cook off
- look into what this flylady thing is
- do some serious studying once Sophies in bed and huby is at work (till 1am!)

Feel a little better this morning, yesterday was another bad day, will see what tomorrow brings.........
Very windy night, so did not sleep all that well, it has dropped now, hope to get the sheets and duvet cover dried outside.... had to put the towels in the TD yesterday, too thick to try and dry them on the airer, they would still have been there at the weekend.
Quick clean up this morning, bedroom needs a dust, bathroom cleaned when I got out of the shower, living room needs a dust and the rug hoovered. that will be it for this week, big clean next Monday.
Managed to cook the supper last night, liver and sausage for tonight, may be a trip to the library later, not feeling too well means I have read all my books.
off for a :coffee: (tea) see ya'll later...............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
