I've been a little spendy today but I couldn't really not pay for my bus fair. (granted the soup and crisps could have been avoided).

Spends for this week - £5.55
Groceries for this week - £6.45

    Spends for today:
    £1 Soup yak!
    60p crisps :o
    £2.30 bus fare home
    Total £3.90

I ended up having scrambled egg on toast for tea so no spends there. DB is having soup later.

    Today's To Do's:
    - [STRIKE]Work until 4:30pm[/STRIKE].

    - Wash up.
    - Go for a jog and [STRIKE]make some grub[/STRIKE].
    - Make lunch for work tomorrow.

I still need to make lunch for tomorrow and wash up but i've decided not to go for a jog as its snowing and I nearly slipped last night a couple of times.

  • How about a large empty coffee jar for you 1s and 2s they hold alot and are free. Well done on saving £50 this month already. Just think if you could do that each month or maybe every other month?

    Morning,

So I was hungry about 10pm last night so DB every so generously bought us a pizza which isn't great for my diet but it was scrummy!

I've already been to the petrol station this morning and put £10 in the car otherwise I wasn't going to get to work. I only put a little bit in otherwise I end up driving everywhere when I should be walking.

Spends for this week - £40
Groceries for this week - £50

I had £12.20 left over from last week which is fab and this is going to go into a pot for emergencies at home.

    Planned spends for today:

    - I am going to go to Tesco for some groceries but hopefully won't need to spend more than £20.

My friend has told me that Primark are selling boots off in the sale and i'm desperate for some boots for work (more of a nessesity than a want) so I might pop over this afternoon but they are only £8 apparently so not too bad.

    Today's To Do's:
    - Work until 11:30.
    - Maybe search for boots.
    - Go to Tesco.
    - Wash up
    - Go for a jog and make some dinner
    - Make tea.

I never made any dinner last night but I only work a short day today so shall have some dinner at home but I woke up late and didn't have time for breakfast so may need to buy some brekkie.

    Have a good day all,

    Evening all,

I found 23p, 3p has gone into my pennies pot and 20p has gone into my emergency pot.

    Money:
Spends for this week - £24.50
Groceries for this week - £50

    Spends for today:

50p on toast this morning for breakfast.
£11 went on KFC for dinner :o whoops!
£4 which is 2 £2 coins gone into the pot.

On the plus side I didn't get anything from Primark, they didn't have my size.
Although i'm really annoyed for spending so much on fast food but I guess I can't beat myself up I need to just make sure I dont do it again. (plus it's terrible for the waistline).

    Today's To Do's:
    - [STRIKE]Work until 11:30[/STRIKE].
    - [STRIKE]Maybe search for boots[/STRIKE].
    - Go to Tesco.
    - [STRIKE]Wash up[/STRIKE]
    - Go for a jog and [STRIKE]make some dinner[/STRIKE]
    - Make tea.

I'm going to go to Tesco tomorrow with my mum.
I think i'll go for an early morning jog tomorrow as it's snowing and has been all day so it'd be too dangerous to run tonight.
I'll make some soup for tea if we're hungry later but i'm still full from my KFC.

I hope everyones had a more frugal day than me :o

Cupcake you had me puzzled there, I had to re-read your spends for today, 50p on toast, then I giggled at how literally I can read things. :p

    Morning,

    Thank crunchie it's Saturday.
I've only just woken up so I must have been exhausted!
Obviously this means that I haven't spent anything yet so spends are the same as yesterday evening.

    Money:
Spends for this week - £24.50
Groceries for this week - £50

    Planned spends for today:

    - I'm going to Tesco so should need to spend around £20 on groceries.

    Today's To Do's:
    - Get a shower and wash my hair.
    - Go to Tesco.
    - Make dinner.
    - Do 2 loads of washing.
    - Go for a run.
    - Make tea.

My mum is coming over today and DB is out for the day with friends so i'm going to go for a walk to Tesco and have a look down the high street. I shouldn't need to spend anything though so that's good.

DB also added £5 to the emergency pot yesterday which is great, he seems to be joining me on my MSE journey.

Other than that it's a quiet day.
I just need to try and resist a take away tonight whilst DB is out.

    Evening,

I've had a lovely day today, i've been to Sainsburys and Jack Fultons, spends below. I also had a nice catch up with my mum and a cup of coffee, I have a Dolce Gusto machine so I don't need to buy coffee out.

    Actual spends for today:

    Jack Fultons:
    £1 - 6 x Muller Yoghurts
    £1.99 - 24 x 5 Alive Juice Cartons
£1.89 - Given to my mum as she didn't have any change
    Sainsburys:
    £1 Lettuce
    £1.10 Tomatoes
    £1 Stir Fry
    £2.99 Salad Pot for Dinner
    £1.29 Light Bulb
    £2.50 2 x Jars of Pasta Bake
    £2.26 2 x Toothpastes
    £2.00 2 x Soup
    £1 Milk
    £1.99 18 eggs
    30p Cloths
    59p Ceaser Dressing
    60p Part Baked Bread
    75p Cucumber

Total Spends for today - £24.25

    Money:
Spends for this week - £24.50
Groceries for this week - £25.75

    Today's To Do's:
    - [STRIKE]Get a shower and wash my hair[/STRIKE].
    - [STRIKE]Go to Tesco[/STRIKE].
    - [STRIKE]Make dinner[/STRIKE].
    - Do 2 loads of washing.
    - Go for a run.
    - [STRIKE]Make tea[/STRIKE].

So I still need to go for a jog which I might leave until tomorrow. I will be leaving the washing until tomorrow and I also need to defrost the freezer as it's got waaaay too much ice in it.

I've also been looking at Dolce Gusto pods online today as they are £3.69 box in most shops. I've seen a post on here saying they are £2.04 on the Viking Direct website with £2.99 postage. Buying 2 boxes online will be cheaper than buying 2 boxes in shops. My mum and brother also have a machine each so I think i'll buy a couple of boxes for each and save us all some money.

I've had a chicken chinese stir fry for tea. I should be having quick teas next week so shouldnt need to spent much more on groceries.
