  • Good Morning All,

I feel much better this morning, I'm just glad I came home with plenty of time before work to help me get back into my routine.
My legs are aching, clearly gardening is much harder than I thought!

    Today's plans are minimal...
    - Go food shopping
    - Cut the grass in the back garden

I'm just going to get enough food for tonight as DB has decided that he wants chilli con carne and we have enough other stuff for food tomorrow and probably Sunday as well.

I really wanted to grow my own veg but I think I've missed the season for it now, does anyone know?
I couldn't have afforded it this year anyway, trust me to have some money when the season has ended.
Ah well I'll try next year instead!

    Have a good Friday all,
    Cup Cake xx

  • I'll keep it brief because i'm shattered tonight!

I spent the day walking and window shopping but didn't manage to cut the grass, no worries though I can do it tomorrow or Sunday.

    Money left this week:
    £43.50 Spends
    Rest of month: £100
    £46 Food
    Rest of month: £136
    Emergency fund: £244

I bought enough food for today and tomorrow and my spends were spent on some further groceries as I needed to pay with cash and I bought ice creams today for me and my mum.
Account are still looking healthy though so i'm happy.

I don't have any plans for tomorrow yet but have some in the pipeline so i'll decide what i'm going to do tomorrow morning.

Happy Friday night all, Cup Cake xxx

    Morning MSE'ers,

I'm back to work tomorrow so I have a big to do list today:
    - Wash up from last night
    - Wash, dry, iron and put away 2 loads of washing
    - Clean out office and sort all paperwork
    - Make a food plan and shopping list
    - Go food shopping

DB and I have decided to buy a new bed and bedroom furniture at christmas so we're going to have a month off paying debts.
We're just looking at how we're going to decorate so that I can start looking out for bargains but i've already seen a few I like.

    Money left this week:
    £43.50 Spends
    Rest of month: £100
    £43 Food
    Rest of month: £136
    Emergency fund: £244

I spent £3 on food spends yesterday stocking up on some essentials for tea.

Ok, time to go and get on with my list.

Spends: Spent £8 today but £4 was on cigs for DB so he owes me this back. £4 was on groceries which I had to pay for with change.
Food: Spent £26 on groceries, may have to buy some butter through the week but I certainly shouldn't need £17.

    Food Diary this week:
Sunday - Chicken, stuffing, new pots and veg
Monday - Beef hotpot with yorkshire puds
Tuesday - Leftover beef hotpot with jacket potato
Wednesday - Pork, new pots and veg
    Thursday - Something from freezer
Friday - Takeaway pizza with martini ;)

I'm now going in the shower and am going to relax for the last couple of hours of my holiday before.
