Morning all,
I got an astonishing 13 hours sleep last night so i'm feeling very refreshed this morning, maybe a little too refreshed.
Anyway i'm out today with my lovely mum, we're going somewhere for a walk and some dinner. I've told her i'm on a spending diet so we're both trying to save as much money as we can as we go out every saturday and that was my most spendy day.
Tonight I was supposed to be out seeing a friend but I might take a range check. I'm not feeling myself at the moment, I think work is just tiring me out and I need some me-time to pamper myself and relax a little. I'll decide later though, there are loads going so I won't be missed.
I ended up spending a further £5.40 last night on some treats and some bread. I've put 50p in my little pot so I have £40 left of my budget. That isn't great at this point in the week but I needed the treats last night, I was feeling very sorry for myself.
Today DB and I also need to do some food shopping so i'll report back on the damage later.
The interview didn't go well for DB as he expected but he'll find out the outcome next week, he isn't hopeful but we'll see, theres always a chance.
Anyway I must dash I need to get a shower, wash my hair, wash up and clear up a little before my mum gets here in 1 hour  wish me luck, im gunna need it.

It's been an expensive day which I didn't expect.
My mum bought lunch on the basis that I buy some coffees later on. £10 was spent on 2 coffees and 2 buns . Lunch was more than that so I got the cheaper option but it is still a lot of money to spend on coffees.
Another £8.50 (yes you read that right) spent on parking . We were only there for 2 1/2 hours as well.
I got a £2 coin from my mum to put in my terramundi and my £1.50 change has gone in my sealed pot. I've added this to my signature so i'll count up tomorrow and add the total amounts on.
I decided to go to my friends house tonight, I need to make the effort to keep up with my socialising. I had a nice time!
I didn't get the shopping done today either because I haven't had a second free. I'll do this tomorrow.
So tomorrow will be spent cleaning, relaxing and shopping... fun fun! :rotfl:
Speak tomorrow, Cup Cake xx
p.s. everyones diaries seem to be quiet at the moment, I wonder where everyone is?!?

Afternoon,
Where has today gone?!? Weekends go waaay too quickly for my liking!
So i've done the bare minimum of cleaning but the house looks acceptable so that'll do for today. Washing nearly done and DB and I went shopping earlier so we've gotten that out of the way.
£40 was spent shopping which is really good! This is certainly less than I used to spend before DB took over. I cant thank him enough!
We have enough food to last us a week, maybe even more.
I've not spent anything else today so my £20 is still in tact. I'm trying Zumba tomorrow so i'm looking forward to that but im not sure how much it will cost so i'm going to have to be very careful with my spends which need to last until Friday. There is enough petrol in the car for tomorrow so that will save me a little money. Just need to pay for travel Tues and Thursday and I have no other plans next week so I should be ok!
Anyway must dash, chinese chicken stir fry for tea... yum!
Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday,

Evening all,
Zumba class over, it was very fun! Free as well which was a massive bonus.
£10 spent today on petrol which should last me until my budget renews. No other spends
.
Work is rubbish at the moment so im just plodding along. DB and I were talking and I think I need something to keep me active on an evening, maybe an evening course or something, something for me to think about anyway!
Next doors are being really loud lately (school hols) so im not sleeping well either.
I'll keep my post short as I don't want to get into woe is me territory.
Must count my pots as well and update sig.

Evening all,
I'm sat here with a lovely glass of wine!
Just finished ironing (which has been waiting for 3 weeks now
) and making my dinner for tomorrow. Washing up still to do but i'll do that tomorrow night as i'm just chilling out now.
Work is really bad at the moment and it's really getting me down. Thank god DB is here looking after me or i'd mope around all evening. I really have no motivation to do anything, I think I need to start keeping busy on an evening to keep my spirits up (should really be exercising).
I've counted my pots and have £18 in one. I couldn't be bothered to count my pennies pot
i'll do that tomorrow.
I spent £1 today on a charity game at work leaving me with £9 for the rest of the week. It looks like i'll need more petrol as well so I doubt i'll have any left at the end of the week, but at least I haven't spent anymore than my budget.
Anyway, back tomorrow!

Afternoon MSE'ers,
Another day at work finished! Where has this week gone?!?
I didn't post yesterday as I went to my mums house and didn't get home until 9pm then did the essentials and rolled into bed.
Yesterday I worked and then had a little potter around the shops to buy some much needed toiletries. I resisted all the lovely clothes which I saw.
I also put £10 petrol in the car. All this came from the card rather than my spends as I only had £7 left and these were essentials.
I then went my mums and she gave me a manicure, she is currently training to nails for a living so my nails look beautiful now and it was lovely and relaxing. I am looking forward to the weekend when she is going to put me some acrylic nails on.
I had some great news at work today so things should start perking up a little bit and it'll make my working life much much easier. It's been getting me down lately!
Tonight i'm going to give the house a clean and make it look semi-presentable.
I've spent £4 today so have £4 left to add to my pot tonight as my budget renews tomorrow. My £4 was a naughty spend, it was on pick and mix for DB and I
.
Anyway must dash, the washing up is calling me!

Good evening MSE'ers,
Had a nice and quiet day today. Short day at work and got home for 1:30.
Pottered around the house and visited my dad for an hour before coming back, doing a little housework and just vegging on the sofa now watching my soaps.
My budget renewed today but it has to last me until 23rd this month when I get paid again. It should certainly be managable as long as I don't waste any money on anything silly!
Today I've only spent £2.30 on bus fare today and 50p on chewing gum (only because I needed change for the bus) so not done too bad!
I got a £2 coin change as well, I need to decide if I can spare it so soon in the week and if so i'll put it in my pot.
Money - £47.20
I have my 2 weeks holiday in just over a month and I have a feeling DB will be working by then so i'm looking to spend a week down south with my grandma. Thanks to the lovely people over on the UK holiday boards it looks as though I should be able to get the train fare for £65 which is really good and I should only need a little spending money. It all really depends on whether DB is working so i'll wait and see what comes of his 2nd interviews next week.
Nothing much else to report today, hope everyone is well!

Good Morning,
The weekend is here
and I feel lovely and refreshed!
I went out last night and bought a few snacks from the shop which cost around £4. I spoke to DB and told him we needed to stop with the trips to the shop for snacks as not only is it bad for my waistline it's bad for my purse as well.
We had a lovely gammon steak for tea last night courtesy of my lovely dad, free and scrummy!
Today my mum is coming over to do my nails
and i'm going to cook her some dinner.
DB has a friend coming over so he'll be a busy bee today.
I'll post later with the adventures of my day. Hopefully i'll be saying I haven't spent much!
Washing up and the shower calls so must dash,

Evening,
This is probably the latest i've stayed awake for a long time! I'm normally asleep by 10pm because i'm so tired lately.
Today my mum did my nails and I bought some fish and chips for DB, my mum and I. This came to £15 which I didn't plan on spending. This spending really needs to stop as OD is now at £250 and anything else we spend will be adding to the debt.
We have enough food in to last us until I get paid so it's just making sure I keep within my budget until payday! It's doable but I just need to keep my spending in check.
I also spent £18 today on food shopping, this is enough to last us the rest of the month now.
Tomorrow my friends are coming over for some dinner which I bought today. It should be a nice relaxing Sunday. Just need to make sure I do the washing whilst they're here or I won't have anything to wear to work on Monday.
NO money can be spent tomorrow, I must be strict with myself!
Hope everyone has had a lovely Saturday, Cup Cake xxx

Morning,
Up bright and early this morning as i've got quite a bit to do before my friends come over and i'm not sure how long they'll be here so I thought it'd be best to get it done before they arrive.
I've decided to start making a to-do list each day as a little encouragement to get things done (it might stop me lazing about all evening after work).
Also as money is so tight this week i'm going to keep a running total of my money to make sure I can cover my bus fare for work.
So to-do today:
- Clean conservatory (dust and vacuum)
- Sweep living room
- 2 loads of washing, drying and putting away.
- Make dinner for friends and wash up afterwards.
- Iron DB's clothes for his interview tomorrow (don't trust him to do it
)
- Make my lunch to take to work tomorrow.
- Count 1's and 2's and add to my signature.
Tonight i'm watching a movie with DB and having a chill out night (i'll need it after this list).
Money today:
Spends in purse - £29.00
I'm going to empty my purse of all the copper and 5p's at the end of each day and make a PAD with them, not much but better than nothing.
Also I added my £2 coin to my pot yesterday so much update sig with that.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday and i'll report back later hopefully with everything ticked off my list.
**Runs off to update signature**
