Tracy - the scary thing about these forums is that they are so addictive, you will be an expert in no time!

Hey urg, how do you post a link to a thread but title it like - link to new diary HERE with 'here' being the link? I've done it before but can't remember, duh!0
-
Now you are testing me!!!
I think this is how I did it!
First copy the url of the page that you want.
Then select the word(s) that you want to link to in your post
Then press the little icon of the world and a paperclip underneath it (aka Insert Link button)
This opens a new window and you can then paste the link to the webpage into the box.
Hey presto! (if it works)
Let me know it it doesn't and I'll amend/delete my post!

Hi everyone
Really couldn't sleep last night - it was gone two before I feel asleep. Was so tired when I got up this morning. work wasn't too bad - thankfully I'd left myself a to-do list so I didn't have to think too much!
I am really tired right now but I have some good things to report:- I managed another NSD - 2 out of 10
- I went for a short walk at lunch time and walked to the station instead of getting the bus
- I returned something back to Amazon for a refund.
- I ate well today (mostly!)
- I went back to weight watchers but now have to work it all out using this new pro points thing. Apparently there is an Iphone app so will get that to see if I can use it as a calculator so won't have to buy new stuff.
- I have updated my spreadsheets and my signature (mortgage and savings figures have gone up!)
See you all soon.

Sounds like a good day's progress!
Sleep well0 -
Fabulous urg, it worked! Ta muchly x
P.S. Thought you were heading to bed an hour ago!!0 -
Sorry Miss!!!!
Well managed another NSD yesterday taking me to 3. I would have managed a 4th today but ended up donating to a colleague who is raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
News of two refunds also came through and will hit the bank account soon.
I've been doing WW for the last two days. Thankfully they have an IPhone app which means I can keep a record. I am doing mostly okay with it - i'll get to learn the new point values. For me, I really have to ensure that I have something ready for when I get home from work as I am famished by the time I walk in and its so easy to reach for the naughty foods! I really need to up the exercise!
I also have done nothing towards my raising £5 per day. I think i will have to do some ebaying this weekend.
I also have to do my 2009/10 tax return - It shouldn't take too long but has been pushed back because of the business of last year. I will try and get it done this weekend.
Better head off to bed,

Hi All
Managed another NSD yesterday bringing up to 4 - that's not bad for me at all!!!!
WW - not sure how that is going. I am doing the new plan and it is really meant to be great but I still need to get my head around it. Went to OH's parents for dinner. Wasn't bad but can't weigh and point accurately so I hope I have done a good job guessing.
I've just completed my tax return online (I have a lodger so have to declare my income). I nearly gave myself a heart attack when it worked out that I owed nearly £800 in tax:eek:. It turned out that I put the earnings in the wrong place! The return now says I owe 20p. I think I can afford that! I will print and review it on Monday and then submit - another thing off my list of things to do.
It's my birthday in a couple of weeks - it's the week before the anniversary of mum's passing so I don't know how I'll be. DH is thinking that it might be nice to get away for the weekend. I may also organise a meal out with friends. It would be nice to do something nice with a few mates. I need to get back into being more social. I have really hidden away alot in the past year.
Gosh - lots of rambling! Sorry!
Right onto today and THE LIST!- Get up and showered
- Washing
- Ironing
- Walk to voluntary shift (30 mins walk)
- Declutter at least 15 items
- Write receipt for flatmate
- Call aunt and nephew to say Happy Birthday and maybe pop round if we have time
- Follow WW and stick to points
- Go to cinema to enjoy time with DH. May even have a meal out using vouchers
- Photograph some items for ebay in order to try and earn some of my £5 a day!

HI Everyone
Not sure why but have been feeling a bit out of sorts the last few days. Work is getting busier and more stressful and things are about to change. I just need to keep on top of things and see how things will pan out.
We went to the cinema yesterday to see The Kings Speech. It was really good and definately worth a see. The cinema was packed and we had a good evening. Only spent £3 on a tip yesterday - DH paid for dinner!
Other news - I have decided to accompany my dad next month on a trip. It's going to cost a bit for the flights but we'll manage to keep costs down as we are going to stay with family during most of the trip and it will help him with his grieving process. It will mean I need to do a lot as we will be taking a lot of my mum's traditional clothes to give to womens' refuges.
I did manage to get some things done yesterday but as ever there is always more to do! I have been working away at and have got somethings done this morning but need to carry on. I won't bore you with the list.
Better get on!

The trip sounds like it will be emotional and difficult in places, but heart warming too, so a good thing
Phew to the tax! 20p is easier to swallow than £800:o:o
And we went to see The King's Speech last night too! I really enjoyed it, Colin Firth is brilliant as is Geoffery Rush, apparently they are both tipped for Oscar noms, well deserved I'd say.
Have a good week x0
